I have been making this easy cheesy pull-apart garlic bread for years and it has been the star of the show for every occasion. It is the first thing to go on the table and the garlic bread of your absolute dreams. It takes minimal time with maximum flavour. It is so cheesy, garlicky and absolutely a must.
INGREDIENTS
2 small (6-7 inch) baguettes or one 12 inch baguette
4 tablespoons softened butter I used 1/2 a stick
1 whole head of garlic + drizzle of olive oil
1 tbsp finely chopped parsley or any herb
pinch of salt
16 mozzarella cheese pieces to fit inside or any cheese like provolone, cheddar, brie
2 tbsp grated parm optional
NOTES
Please note: you can add any herbs you love, I personally think fresh is always better. Please don’t use pre-shredded mozzarella in a bag and use a better quality block of cheese if possible as it will taste better. If you don’t like using foil you can bake these in a oven safe tray with a lid. If you do not want to roast the garlic feel free to use 3-4 minced cloves of fresh garlic instead but roasting it makes it so flavorful, sweet, and less pungent.
