Small tip dave run your drawcord under your hem fold over and stitch it in saves alot of sodding about feeding in the cord once you finished the bag. Good job anyway mac will be proud of ya ATB FRED
Cracking job mate, likes the way you pulled the ends in, I use fanny flaps, In short mate, if you had the time to make em, people would i know part wif good money for a hand built item mate.. Nice one,
Real pro job on the bag, David, like the other gear you have made. Useful too. Thanks for sharing. By the way, did Mack pass on that I thought your kuksa may have been made from yew wood, which isn't good for using for drinking from? I may be wrong, but it is a hard wood to work, and it looked very much like it on Mack's vid. Atb
Dale Skidmore cheers mate I like to do the best job I can when making any item but sometime it works and sometimes it doesn't I am very happy on how this bag come out thanks, Eddie did not mention about the kuksa but I am sure it's not Yew as I use to go to a woodland where there was lots of it the bark was completely different but thanks for mentioning it. Atb Dave
It does show in your work. Pleased that you know it is not yew, it must be the oil finish that made it look so much like it ( I have used yew a little and it is hard to work and was very similar in grain pattern ). Atb.
Zero Pence cheers Keith as you know I enjoy making stuff like yourself and when something come out good it does give me a smile and all the effort was worth it. Atb Dave

norfnife lemon sorry for the delay have you got yourself any material ? To be honest it took about 5 hours but was pretty easy to make as long as you have a plan on how it will go together be good to see it when you have made the bag. Atb Dave
No problem Dave, I haven't yet but I try to re-use materials as much as possible and have a couple of old canvas jackets that no longer fit me ;-/ I have just completed a leather/waxed cotton forage pouch for someone which was fun to make. Will post it up soon. Take care and thanks again for sharing. Steve
