Thank you very much. I will do some tests and simulations on my own. I'm also not happy with how Blizz treated DH in such a way; you are losing your high mobility because you need it for damage. In addition, this build can already be used because Blizz did not change much for the DH, but buffed the retri Pala, which weird.
with meta overlapping eye beam a second time, you have to hold off on using eye beam or else you miss demonsurge procs. the last two points in cycle if hatred and shattered destiny are basically wasted because of this. one point in cycle of hatred is about all you need to have eye beam come up immediately after meta drops, and since it's roughly every 30 seconds, you can always use sigil of flame before eye beam for the mastery buff. it doesn't make sense to have an extra six to ten seconds of meta if you're going to be getting it anyway after eye beam when meta drops.
I simulated DH, Ilvl 619.13, Queens Mandate, and Void reaper (both pieces) with a five-minute fight with light movement, which is more realistic than just the patchwork. Single: 1. Aldrachi build no mover - 1,183 M 2. The "common" single target momentum build - 1,169 M 3. Fel build no mover - 1,152 M But, the Aldrachi build has a significantly higher standard deviation, which means it depends more on procc luck. Conclusion: They are all very close together from a theoretical perspective, so I will give them a try and test them (My HC logs are primarily blue, so I would say a bit more than average player, or)
For a fresh demon hunter and an average wow player, would you recommend pursuing a mover build or a non mover one? Thank you for the content, appreciate it, super concise
mover is something you should strive towards since its going to be the better play, and i would recommend trying to learn it. If you find its not for you, then these are a fine alternative
I like to dash around. But i dont like using it to deal decent dps yet, especially in m+ and raids when I’m learning mechanics. Maybe holding off on them when I’m sure i can dash will still yield better dps than no mover?
@@VooDooSaurus No it's a lot more then 5% / 10% for mythic/boss the Inerita gives you 18% flat damage boost for 5 secs. The up-time on Inerita and getting that 18% dmg is massive. Even tho it's only for 5secs having your eyebeam essence break and then your blade dance do 18% more every time we use immolation fel rush since we have 2 charges of felrush and 2 immolation aura or more depending on if you're playing the ignition build. we can open up with 10secs of 18% dmg boost. Not to mention having your immolation aura reset when entering meta allows you to keep that 18% going. So in other words that 18% dmg we get from Inerita no skill in our talent tree even remotely gives us that much of a dmg boost over the duration of a fight 18% damage every immolation/felrush over a 4 to 5min fight far out weight anything that low mover can offer.
@@InAsh3s that depends because if you suck at mover the dps will suck too so this would provide better numbers however if your a pro at the class id assume mover is better dps but it dosent really matter
@@InAsh3s you literally mathed him being correct in your own explanation lol. 18% for 5 seconds every 40 seconds over 5 minutes is a 2.1% increase. If you add 3 extra uses because of meta resets then the total increase only goes to 3%...
I think no mover is pretty good if you are just learning mechanics and Once you are geared and skilled gotta go for that extra mile but still no mover is quite compfty recommended for casual players
Im looking up parses again. Im comparing me and another DH in the same boss fight. For his iLVL he parsed in the 90s and i was in the 60s. Yet it seemed he didnt even do his eye beam window combos correctly. One thing i did notice was again the demonsurge procs were the same amount of procs but he did significantly more damage with his being a lower iLVL. Demonsurges crit rate for me is always low. Any chance you could explain whats going on?
@@TheGraavytrain he probably just hit more things with demonsurge, hitting adds is essentially needed to parse if those open on a fight. That or there’s some way you’re messing up your window. I also wouldn’t care about ilvl parses too much.
@@VooDooSaurus hate to bombard you with questions but any reason why not to worry about iLVL parses? i parse well outside of that. But i feel "guilty" parsing well because of my iLVL
Lisent to the video my friend, he really said "it's uptime dependant" AR is bad in M+, AR is meh* (*if you play only ST boss who never moves like Kyveza) in raid
feels like playing no mover dh is so pointless, might aswell just play fdk deals twice the amount of damage as havoc and is atleast three time as tanky (even when you play mover build its the same shit but atleast you deal more damage)
