It's actually about Simon and his love interest (Simon being the Wale and his love interest being the octopus(if you want to know why tell me)) and how they change by the time and go there way but the they reconnected by the trep to Hawaii, and this is why it's the second song in the album

Eventually they go on a trip to Hawai’i, reconnecting the two. Idk why they said this explains why it’s track 2

I originally made it so they were always moving from left to right and Joe Hawley posted that version as the official version on Miracle Musical’s RU-vid channel. But he told me he liked the idea of having a version be flipped so they are going right to left, because he was into the idea of being ambidextrous.
