Just FYI, the front bolt that holds your tire should be installed from right to left, due to the spinning direction of the tire, like that if the bolt turns the nut gets tighter!! The wait it was installed was not safe!!! And I also hope that treat lock was put on every bolt!!!! Good video!!!
thanks for the video. assembling was a piece of cake after watching this video and I knew what tools I am going to need before opening the box for assembling. thanks Ricky powersportsgot this awesome helpful video.
One item I didn't expect to need adjustment was the drive chain on the one I assembled. It came too tight. With some weight on the assembled machine, the amount of fairly free up-down movement about midway in the chain should be about 1 1/4" or so. I replaced the adjuster nuts and washers with elastic stop nuts so that they would not loosen accidentally and fall off the adjusters.
there is a plug type thing in the turning signal how do you put it back on when you take it out and put the turning signal / horn. It seems like it would go back on because the thing rotates freely right now and don't seem right. its already on in the video... like it was skipped :-(
Yes at about a 1 amp rate until it's fully charged, usually after about 1.5 hrs. You need to let the batter sit with the electrolyte fill for about an hour also before charging.
This video appears to be done in China or some other affiliated dealer or warehouse. That's why no sound and the use of some tools that look a little odd to U.S. customers.
people tell me to change the oil immediately when i get the bike assembled, will it be ok to use the oil that is already in it? and if it isnt what do i need to use for break-in oil cause im really confused and i dont want to take a risk
oh ok ty for telling me that, my sister has a taotao 125cc fourwheeler and we used the oil that came in it as break-in oil and it worked just fine, than after break-in, we put 20w-40 (as it said on the fourwheeler) in it, so i was confused, but ty for the reply
Asking for my husband....... The motorcycle came with no directions or specs, is there anyone that knows what gap measurement should be used for the valve adjustment, Intake and exhaust ? TIA!
The way this machine arrives in the crate is typical of how new machines of many kinds arrive at the dealer. They need to be assembled and serviced before the customer takes delivery. They are shipped partially disassembled to reduce the cubic foot space they require and lowers the shipping costs. Assembling new machines was one of my first occupations as a young adult working for a Honda/BSA dealer in the midwest. I managed to assemble this one for my daughter, taking care as I've been away from the occupation for many years.
