Fabio looks like he has this sort of mischevious glint in his eye, something you really only see in very smart birds. Bet he's a massive troll at times.
I find it crazy how small the males look compared to the females. Ive known a few falconers glue on feathers onto the tips of broken feathers but ususally they tend to glue on harris hawk feathers as they're quite flexible and durable. I love the screaming they do. Can be deafening though.
yes imping is what thats called when they replace broken feathers with new ones. Id do it but I have no donor tail feathers to glue back on. Its end of season anyhow so not much point in imping when they are all falling out already haha
