Pull the air pump off and throw it away as we do on all our race bikes. You can buy block off plates on ebay for next to nothing and away you go. Will give you more room at the front of the motor.

My cousin has a really custom Hayabusa, and has since bought another project one. looking forward to this series. His ECU was flashed by a guy in Fremantle WA.
Loving this build. Should be a beast when done. I don't know if you've said it or thought about it, but couldn't you make the engine sit more upright? That'd give you more head clearance at the side, bringing the output shaft more centred. It would also give you more header room. If you're planning on dry sumping it or changing the sump so the engine sits lower, then adjusting the oil pick up will have to be done anyway. Though I'm sure you've thought about all that anyway. Looking forward to the next progress video.

Careful with the sump choice. Bike engines don't experience lateral Gs when they are installed in a bike, installing the bike engine in the car turned to the side will make the main forces it sees under acceleration/braking lateral.
Busa motors are strong, Jamie at S&R Pro in Penrith had one running 650 at the wheel on stock internals so really depends on how much power you are after.
I would have kept that busa for a rider and used your other one as a donor . You said this one was better than yours . That was a really nice bike to good to rip apart .
As much as I love the idea of a Busa engine in anything seeing the engine being pulled is a bit sad, I had to sell my K9 a few years back when I was dealing with some mental health issues so I didn't lose my house, I do have a K1 GSX750R now that I love so that's something. Keep up the awesome projects, you're killing it!
We hope you you made it to the track in time. We appreciate the updates. Live streaming a few dyno runs and a shop update could save you some time on editing. But we understand that you are solo so anything is better then nothing. Keep up the good work. Ps the shop upgrade has came together and it's look professional now 👍
Should try mount it facing forward and use a small transfer case to adapt drive line would save a lot of hassles with oil moving in gearbox under acceleration etc etc etc
or you can just build a frame that has a shaft that repositions the output drive to the correct position to mate up to a cars driveline. No comprimise on weight bias. much like the primary drive from the crank to the clutch basket except using 525 chain and sprockets. gets your 3 degrees easy
Few clubman style cars I have seen busa powered.Dont know if it effects ur project but I was told they wouldn't approve any more for street this is a NSW regulation.
It is the fate of EVERY hayabusa engine to eventually be put into something that is not a motorcycle. Whether it's after the first time the bike is dropped or the fourth time, one day that engine will be slung into a car or buggy or jetboat etc. etc.

I have a 2018 r1 and was thinking of using the engine in my morris minor, please show how you do the tailshaft, shifter and what are you going to do for reverse
I've looked at doing a Hayabusa or similar conversion twice and I couldn't work out a good way to mate the motor up to the gearbox in a way that makes sense.
whats the mini in the video doing there? and when are we going to see that? same solution of building a drop in frame as I have, but I'm just doing it FWD
Can you roll it over so the exhaust points up and the gearbox output is more centre? (Or will it be too tall or too much angle the other way?) Great project!

I was thinking you were going to leave the same orientation as the bike and put a reversing right angle gear box with a big double row chain in it. This seems like a better idea
Talk to a and r pro regarding boost levels and when to upgrade pistons and rods those guys do turbo hyabusas for a living I’m pretty sure there pushing 700hp plus now
