I love that Hayden is getting the Andrew Garfield treatment and finally being welcomed by fans and enjoying himself.

I love how Hayden actually came back to Star Wars. It was such a disappointment how he only came back for a two second voice cameo in the Rise of Skywalker. This is where he belongs. I can’t wait to see even more of him in Ahsoka’s show.

It's like watching Obi and Ani in a "Anakin never turned to the dark side" What If show. They are both so chill here. I can't stop smiling, I'm sO happy. I need ALL the Ewan/Hayden interviews.

I'm almost crying and sometimes fully crying seeing Hayden and Ewan back together. They are my childhood icons. And Hayden is my teenage crush.

Never realized people took issue with “I hate sand.” Anakin’s childhood and his explanation of sand made a great case against the stuff.

“Like you trained his father?!” Is an absolutely brutal thing to say, such a great line!

It makes me so weirdly happy to know that Hayden basically created Anakin’s signature lightsaber twirl.

I've always seen the dialogue of "I don't like sand" the same way Hayden sees it. Glad about that. The criticism for that is completely ridiculous.

Exactly! people blame that scene for bad dialogue when it's really just his way of showing how much he hated that life, surrounded by sand because that's all he knew for the first ten years of his life and it brings back bad memories for him. It's amazing to see how well Hayden understands his character.

There was a lot of subtext to the scene where Anakin says he hates sand. Padme is talking about idyllic days on the beach (which this location reminds her of and takes her away from the recent attempts on her life). Anakin contrasts her childhood, with his as a slave. But also he's trying to distance himself from that association, because as a Jedi he has autonomy and status, and is more like her equal than when they first met. On top of that, he's desperately trying to be a man, and not the 'boy' she talked about at the start of the movie when they first meet again. They are both contrasting their childhoods with obligations and burdens they now face as Jedi and senator, and how their time together on Naboo is a moment of freedom they can reflect on the past and who they were and how far they've come. Despite being so different, they are in many ways facing similar struggles as young people.

Anakin was my hero growing up and I was so sad to see the hate Hayden got for playing him so seeing him back is like a dream come true

Seeing them together just makes me smile.

Normally actors feel like they do these press things bc they need to, but these two just feel like they genuinely enjoy doing it, love it so much

For everyone that criticized the sand line: try living your life in a place where every now and then there is a sandstorm. It wouldn't be so nice would it? There is a huge difference between a beach and a desert. It was also a nice differentiation to Anakin and Padme's upbringing. Padme liked sand because of the beach and was free. Anakin hated it because of the desert and his slavery

Ewan: “Let go on vacation Hayden.” Hayden: “Really?… ok where?” Ewan: “To the beach… lots of sand…” *Hayden looks at Ewan for a minute and then out of nowhere* Hayden: “𝐈 ℍ𝔸𝐚𝐀αт𝕖 𝐲𝔬σ𝕠𝐮!!!”

The way they look at each other is so wholesome 🥺

Aww. Hayden seems so much more relaxed than when he was young and going through the whole prequel experience. I know it was difficult for him, all that pressure. I'm glad he can sit back and enjoy it for what it is. And kudos to McGregor for always supporting him and pushing for his return. Hayden went through a lot of bashing way back when, and I'm sure that wasn't easy. But McGregor has always supported him and talked about the positive experience of their working together. He's always been loyal to Hayden. McGregor's career took off, and Christensen's stalled. But he pushed for Hayden to come back. He seems like a good dude.

Finally Disney are making something that actually feels like Star Wars and its because of these two legends.

What I love about these two, talking about the Star Wars universe, is that they can actually name planets, places, characters ect. You know that they are actually passionate about it. Like, when watching some of the Marvel interviews where some of the actors can hardly name some of the other heroes in their own movie.. It just gives such a perspective!

As a huge Hayden fan for over 20 years now, it's great to see him making a big comeback. I've always believed he was a great actor. Even outside of Star Wars, his performances in Life As A House, Shattered Glass, Awake, Vanishing On 7th St, American Heist, Takers and Higher Ground TV Series have always blown me away. He has always had a old hollywood vibe and aura to him as an actor. His charisma and magnetism is just different from a lot of other great actors of today. He's always reminded me of James Dean, Marlon Brando and Michael Landon on screen among other old school stars too

One can see why both of them were put together in Star Wars. A great chemistry that many envy. Their return is most welcome.

I'm on a prequel binge rn and having the thought of "I wish these guys would come back" only to then realise they are is just perfect. We truly are living in the best time to be a Star Wars fan in the 21st century

The prequels were actually really awesome. I can’t understand why people hated them so much. Palpatine’s slow rise to power was awesome to watch. In addition to Ani’s story, Jango Fett and of course the clone war. What a great story. I wish Disney took the time to lay out an adequate trilogy. They had so much to build on.

The fight scene between these two guys is still the stuff of legends. I never tire of watching that fight scene. These two guys were perfectly casted.
