That's what they said even in star wars until he killed not just the man, but the woman and the children too😂. Jokes aside, he's really awesome and kind in real life
I can safely vouch for that. He was sooo nice at the fan expo in Philly. Hugged me after I told him I’ll never forget this ever, thank you so much I love you so much. Like what a nice man!
@@ghosthunter7258it was an early example of the current culture of fandom. Being a “fan” of something these days means being obsessively dedicated to the original or first iteration of something, and then absurdly critical of anything that comes after it. Star Wars is probably the best example of it. Regardless of if something is objectively “good” or not (meaning well-written, well-directed, etc.), people who enjoy new Star Wars content are constantly piled on by overzealous people who gatekeep the franchise and think that being a “fan” means only liking the original trilogy. It’s not enough to simply get enjoyment out of something to be considered a fan of it anymore, and the prequel trilogy was one of the first examples of that that I can recall, at least on the scale it was.
The video didn't say that, only that he waited in line for that long, which is (unfortunately) not unusual for conventions. Hayden was probably there for 1-2 hours.
@Leopold_98 I know. But I mean for him to match his age in the actual originals. Like at least some kind of update where Luke reveals the mask of Christensen. IDK, just an idea, but it would accurately match his age. But they'd probably have to remake it, and best ti keep it the way it is
Trust me I love the prequels as much as any other fan but his acting (and everyones really) was pretty stiff. To me tho the cheesier acting actually makes the movies better for some reason. But I always have and always will love Hayden as Anakin.
It’s the writing. NOBODY could make that script work. The lines are all too literal and stiff. There’s no room for inflection, short hands, or nuance. There’s no room for acting. It has to be delivered like it’s being read because that’s what George wanted. I’m not going to shit on Lucas because what he did for film cannot be overstated but his style of directing, the whole production of the Prequels, was a tragic story in of itself. He has great ideas but he should have let somebody else realize them on his behalf. He should have been the overall orchestrator, not the on set director.
I feel bad how horribly this young man was treated by the Hollywood mafia. He didn’t deserve all the negative publicity he received for being in Star Wars.
The "Hollywood mafia"? He was hated on by a segment of the rank-and-file Star Wars fans, not some higher ups who had nothing to do with Star Wars. Most of us weren't haters, but trying to ignore the crap fans is embracing a lie.
@@rikk319 And trying to ignore the shit Hollywood also threw is also embracing a lie. Have you heard the kind of shit people said about this man in Hollywood? It was both sides for sure. He got no breaks from anybody.
It's not Hollywood that hated Hayden Christensen It's the stupid ass Star Wars Elitist fans that mercilessly criticized him because they didn't like his version of Anakin Skywalker or his version of Darth Vader I swear elitist fans are the stupidest people on earth They take certain things way too serious They do not leave no room to adapt to new things They get stuck in the past 🤦♂️
God, that's fucking beautiful. Anakins' story always makes me cry, and you captured the pain in his character, and in us, on a piece of paper like a true artist 🖤
So awesome. If I could meet anakin I would do the line as well. He's my favorite hero/antihero... Watching him in theaters. I'm happy you got to show him the amazing drawing.
It always brings a tear to my eye seeing Hayden finally get recognized for the amazing performances and hige contributions he has gifted to star wars. He will forever be my favorite actor in Star Wars and character.
Hope he finds a good woman someday. Rachel Bilson was a narcissistic moron and now hosts one of those unbearable podcasts full of depravity. I reckon if you asked him the worst mistake he ever made in his life he'd say it was marrying her.
Imagine your work as 1 of the most Iconic fiction and non fiction alike characters of all time being ridiculed and criticized for almost 2 decades and then FINALLY getting recognized for how Incredible you were and being so humble and down to earth. Amazing!!
I love Hayden! His personality is just like Anakin’s - so selfless and sweet. This interaction with Hayden is so wholesome and it goes to show how humble and friendly he is! Hayden and Anakin are GOATs
Hayden is honestly one of my favorite actors ever… he puts a smile on my face every time i see any of his interviews because he just seems like such a genuinely nice person💕
Hayden is like an everyday guy who just wandered into a Star Wars set one day and George was like "that's him, that's my Darth Vader! My... apprentice".
George apaprently. auditioned hundreds. There was something he saw in Hayden. I always thought Hayden got the short end of the stick, despite the fact that the prequels have glaring problems. It wasn't his fault the dialogue was atrocious.
what a legend!! so humble caring respecful such a sweetheart a true gentle soul i can go on all day about how amazing this man truly is and that drawing was absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh, wowsers! Heh, this little moment of Hayden seeing your drawing is so wholesome and heartwarming. He's such an awesome man, I'm so happy that he liked your drawing! Best of luck on your artwork and may the Force be with you! 💙🙌🏻
I like that even due to accent difficulties he kept asking you to repeat because he wanted to be sure he understood what you were asking. For me? That's the most impressive part of this video. That speaks volumes about who and what kind of person he is. Respect.
I’m jealous. That’s so awesome! What an experience 😎👍🏻 When he finally heard what you were asking, he answered “10” with no hesitation, which tells me that he genuinely loved it.
I agree, why show him it if you weren’t intending to give it to him. What? To hear him complement you? Like what else is he going to say? It was a 9? He should have at least asked Hayden to sign it?
There is a difference to actors who are more down to earth and willing to praise such individually. Hayden is one of those, and I hope he never forgets that beauty drawn by u.
honestly stuff like this is what makes me appreciate autograph signing more than people who just stand in line with funko pops than anything else, im really glad as humble as Hayden is really appreciates art from true passion.
I hope we’ll be able to see solo Vader movie with him or Clone Wars period prequel. Those heroic times with self confident and funny Anakin, which wasn’t shown by Lucas. Hayden’s acting was so underrated almost 20 years ago. Now people beg him to appear. I’m just so happy to see him. He deserves all the love. You saw him and shook his hand? That’s a dream. What a nice guy.
thank you so much!! it’s like we get to experience meeting Hayden through your eyes so to speak! thank you so much for sharing and i’m really happy that you were able to meet him ❤
@@OmarAlsaadi40 your art manages to capture the story of Anakin turning into Darth Vader in one picture! amazing work my friend! be very proud of your work :)
Given the role of a lifetime to play one of the greatest villains at such a young age, dealing with Hollywood/fandom without losing his humble nature. I love that he is receiving the love he deserves.
Really wonderful how it captures the pain that drives vader. Its not a desire to be evil, but pain and suffer that he can no longer take, pushing to be a thing we all can be driven too. Well done.
