I remember seeing her back in the 80s in Haysi Fantayzee and thinking she was quite interesting, very pretty but with an edge, and the most amazingly perfect slim figure. Not just a pretty face though, a talented artist too it seems.
Gosh how I loved this woman back in 82!! She was my role model for sure, when I used to go clubbing I used to wear the same type of clothes which Kate/Haysi Fantayzee wore heehee. I had the dreadlocks too. She was such a stylish, cool and beautiful woman, its amazing how ahead of their time Haysi were, from a style point of view. Shes still as beautiful today, with beautiful facial bone structure. The woman who is modelling for Kate here looks a bit like Marc Almond, of Soft Cell haha; shes gorgeous though, wonder who she is?

I was curious about Kate when I was 13 in 1982. I didn't know whether to fancy her or not! She seemed enticing and unusual. Haysi was a very original group and very memorable whether you liked them or not and Kate was certainly noticeable. A really spirited and alluring presence. They stood out and I still find Kate a head-turner. I was lucky enough to have a girlfriend quite similar to her many moons ago.
It's so strange you saying that, I'm the same age as you and I always looked at her as someone that was more of a pure spirit rather than someone you'd just fantasize about and want to bed.
Funny enough she didn’t tick my box but watch the shiny shiny video and wow. I was still into blondes back then .well I wanted to be but just too young .

When i was young back in the day , i saw kate as somone who looked stunning , fancy her ? You betcha , but ...its only looking at the video again in 2024 , i never noticed her abbs in the shiny shiny video , wow she wasnt just fit , she WAS fit , ❤
Well, I was just watching "Shiny Shiny", I had never seen the video at the time and was surprised how little she was wearing when Jeremy seemed to be in a sort of marquee, but saw her face and shouted "KATE!" Then I came here by related videos and was prompted to check whether she had an open blouse. But "her name is not Julie". Surely.
If I remember, the gatefold of their album had a topless shot of her. Just a beautiful woman - I met her and Jeremy very briefly at a radio DJ convention in NYC in '83. Nice folks as I recall.
