@@hbluemole6941 leider, genauso wie sein Vater und deswegen kann ich ab diesem Punkt nur noch auf english schauen weil die neuen Stimmen einfach falsch sind
I’m so happy that this show got a Canadian French dub, as we’ve been pretty much starved of those for at least the past decade. Hopefully this dub starts a renaissance for Canadian French dubbing
@@Regular_Decorated_Emergency haha, I didn’t know Blake was in part Italian, that is really cool of him. But as I said before, I am 100% sure Riccardo Suarez voiced Angel in the Italian dub (I’m saying this as an Italian who’s s big fan of him) :D
I got the flag at 2:25 wrong. It's actually brazilian portuguese, not portuguese. Amazon Prime labeled that language as just "Portuguese", which is why that mistake happened.
I know right? I fell like nowadays we don't have the same quality when it comes to translation and voice cast as back in the 90s and early 2000s... and then comes this show, which I was surprised has a german dub at all but then also a high class cast. Hearing Angel with Timmys voice was a shooking yet wonderfull surprise XD
2:25 you got the wrong flag, that's portuguese from brazil, but that's Portugal's flag. I'm from Portugal, yeah we speak portuguese, but our version of the language is a bit different from the one in the video (just wanted to let everyone know and avoid unintentional misinformation)
I know about the difference, but Amazon Prime labeled it as just "Portuguese". I thought they would've specified brazilian portuguese, so I went with the portuguese flag, because it was just labeled as portuguese. Thanks for pointing it out.
Amazon Prime labeled it as just "Portuguese". I know about the difference, but I thought that Prime would've labeled it as brazilian portuguese specifically if it were brazilian portuguese. I was wrong it seems.
@@LordDvalin-vk3vh Yeah, its mostly amazon's fault for not labeling it correctly. I was also confused when I went to watch the dubbed version, because at first I thought there was no Brazilian portuguese since it was labeled only as portuguese
I really like the dubbing in general in Latin Spanish but Angel dust sounds so... strange? in this scene What I want to say is that maybe it is too high-pitched and it is strange because in other dubbing the tone is different, it is funny in English but in Latin Spanish they make it higher, pulling to moan
@@Nellyaa yeah, yeah, thats it also, maybe i even actually would be less annoyed by his singing voice being an old lady if at least the translation was good i know there are restrictions with timing and even mouth sync at times, but even while watching i could translate it better but i normaly watch in english anyway, because that is how viv intended it, I only watched the translation to see if they actually did an alright job which they unfortunately didnt. okay i know that was a lot of ranting, but one more thinf. actually the first thing i noticed. after being pretty positively surprised of their german voices, i instantly was let down by the choice of words. different characters should have different patterns of speaking. which they do. but not in the translation. at least i instantly noticed it with alastor in ep 1 and then didnt really pay much attention to it again tbh anyway, sorry for all that critical dumping. again, i normaly watch the show in english anyway, and i love it, just the translations, or what i recently learned would be a more appropriate name for this, localisations, kinda suck
@@AshTheCat_15 Yeah I get you can't make a perfect dub due to lip sync, timing etc. I get not all lines can be perfect. For the most part, I think the translated texts are fine, although I'd agree they lack nuance to fit the unique characters better. Funny though I've had more of a gripe with the voices cast, they're good actors, but like Angels actor lacks sex-appeal, Alastors' is handsome but lacks creepiness etc. It feels like they ran out of decent actors to cast them better or simply didn't care enough to find someone truly fitting. Alastor is definitely special in that he uses old-timey words in the original which they kind of didn't follow through with in German. I wonder if our language hasn't changed as much as English or has changed TOO much and it was therefore a lot harder to translate that old-timey-ness without people not understanding him. Honestly someone studying linguistics or something might be able to answer that better. I do watch the show in English, but I was curious when I saw there was a German version and watched that afterwards, just to compare lol. Well his singing voice is absolutely atrocious/ill-fitted (dear god please why didn't you cast one of 100 great male singers with a more feminine voice, there must be some somewhere!!), at least his talking voice is 80% there imho.
@@yona9678 I know that that's obvious but that is r an excuse for the singing voice to ne so unfitting like, that doesn't sound like our feminine fella angel dust, that sounds like an old lady Because it probably is
