I think the safest way of getting it is combining clean purified ammonia with methanol in a vessel, and bubbling the resulting gas into a solvent to "store" it, or compressing it into a K tank.
I tried this and by anaerobic fermentation of legume roots containing nitrogen fixing (rhizobia) bacteria, inside distilled water with sugar and yeast, an appreciable amount of methylamine gas is created, organically. The ammonia comes from bacteria, the methanol is from anaerobic yeast fermentation. You just put a tube on the vessel and let the bubbles go into some methanol to dissolve it, and also any leftover ammonia converts to methylamine that way. Definitely works.
