Incredible! Its difficult to fathom so much knowledge and wisdom concentrated in one scholar. I have checked numerous times the references given by Ghamdi Sahib and always found it correct. Please do explain his mode of preparing a particular subject. I always wish to listen him in person.

He has already discussed the “ehsan on the ummah” part in a previous video. That any other option would have led to civil war, as there was no other feasible way to appoint a ruler that everyone could agree on. But a monarchal succession of rule was already a principle in their time widely accepted by everyone. Other details too but please go back and watch the video. As for the hadees, I too am waiting for it. One thing I know, is that hazrat Ali never mentioned the hadees. It came to hazrat Muawiya’s knowledge after hazrat Amr bin Aas’s son mentioned it to Amr bin Aas, and then Amr bin Aas to Muawiya.
This excellent series should have subtitles in English at a minimum and other languages if possible. It should not just be confined to Urdu speaking audiences. Please raise funds for this effort and Insha’Allah well all support it.

Well, the death of Hussain RA and his companions was the climax of the conflict between Ameer Muawiya and Hazrat Ali. It was the climax of Ali's purely Islamic principles and Muawiya's Machiavellian politics. Personally, I can never friend with the enemies of those dear to the Prophet SAW. Seems like cowardice and disloyalty to me. But to each its own 👍

Ameer Muawiya (R.A) malukiyal is the result of negligence of First 3 caliphs. They couldn't produce a system which could be lasted for a long a time. And thus khilafat e Rashida only lasted for 30 years because they done nothing to handle the system of khilafat at such big scale.
@@mohsinrehman3026 khilafat and malukiyat is a different issue. Here we are talking about the injustice done to Hazrat Ali and Hassan and Hussain (RA), who we love because the Prophet SAW loved them. Hazrat Ali RA was chosen on the basis of shura so why campaign against him? Read some on the issue and you'll come to know that Muawiya, Amr and Mughira started the campaign against Ali just because he wouldn't give them political power.

Iss ke elawa Sura Aale Imran ki Ayat no.21 ka mutaliaa ker lain jis ka tarjuma ha, "Jo loag Allah ki aayaat ka inkaar kertay hain aour Ambiya (AS) ko na-haq qatal kertay hain aour logo ma se Insaaf ka hukam dainay waalo ko bhi qatal kertay hain unhain dardnaak azaab ki khabar suna dain." Aour Ayat no.22 ka tarjuma ha, "Aisay logo ke aamaal dunya aour ahkhirat ma berbaad ho gaiyay aour Inn ka koee madadgaar nahee". Ab jinn logo ne Allah ke Rasool(SAWW) ke khandaan ko qatal kiya, unn ke opper zulm kiya aour Hazrat Imam Hussain(AS) ke Ashaab ko bhi qatal kiya aour unn ke ooper zulm kiya to iss ayat ki roo se unn ka anjaam kya hoga. Aour jis Zaalim Mouviya ne aisay afraad ko ummat ke ooper musallat kiya uss ke baaray ma khod hi soch le.
With due respect I disagree with Javed Ghamdi sahib regarding role of Hazrat Mawayia RA . He is trying to justify Hazrat Muwayia RA for his role against Hazrat Ali RA during his khilafat . Hazrat Ali RA was elected Caliph and Son in law of Prophet SAW . Hazrat Muwayia RA was also not a ordinary person , he was sahabi e rasool and brother in law of prophet SAW . So he should support Hazrat Ali RA for strengthening his khilafat , and help him to resolve disputes among sahaba e keram. But unfortunately he fought against Hazrat Ali RA and after his shahadat he did not compromised and not accepted Hazrat Hassan bin Ali RA as Khalifa . And he became khalifa thruogh arm power , not through election /shura which was against Quran and Sunnah and against advice of Prophet SAW . As regards his selection of his son Yazid as next caliph cannot be justfied on the basis political situation and law and order problem. Hazrat Muwayia RA ruled 20 years , he should create a shura and take their advice on consensus basis and nominate any other person for khilafat . But unfortunately he failed to do it , and due this approach khilafat ended and mulukiat started . I have no intention to degrade Sahabi e rasool Hazrat Muwayia RA , but his role is controversial in our history. Thank you .
I am not the one who judges remote history, as historical accounts are rarely accurate. Nevertheless, assuming the history we have is reasonably accurate, based on this account of Ghamidi sahab, it seems Hussein (ra) adopted an unopinionated position.....neither accepting, nor rejecting the de facto autocracy. Non-acceptance was probably in light of the Quranic guidance that rule should be based on consensus of muslims. Non-rejection was likely based on real-world consideration that rebellion from authority will be crushed with overwhelming force, so unless you have something to counter that force with, its non-sensical to reject authority and stand up against it. It seems the leadership at the time over-reacted in fear. Acceptance of autocratic rule would have had an immense negative consequence, it would have legitimized it. The tragedy is that the lesson Hussein (ra) was teaching us Muslims was to uphold democratic principles in electing our leaders......that key message got lost in the emotional exploitation of that historical event.....and the entire community of Muslims is paying the price for it to this day!

Artistic the way Ghamidi sb. is able to present both extreme perspectives yet gift us listeners a ground whence we can understand, if not appreciate, either position. I do, however, differ slightly with regard to the nature or motive of al-Husain's journey here somewhat circumspectly presented. The text of the Kufan letters in which is celebrated amīr al-mu’minīn Mu‘awiyah's death and explicit evocation towards uprising and an alternate imamate is vividly sought made the authoritative regime's work straight forward. Ibn ‘Aqeel actually accepted bay‘ah on behalf of Husain and it is said that some twelve or eighteen thousand gathered and marched with him up to the gate of the governor's palace. So we're looking at a straight up revolt, not mere relocation. For me the tragic part of the story which remains a mystery is why was Husain never allowed to complete his redirection toward Damascus when he showed willingness to accept Yazid's authority in wake of Kufan betrayal? History books give in to oversimplification in attempting to address this question and conveniently but unsatisfactorily point the finger of blame to Ibn Ziyad.

I have a great great deal of respect for Ghamidi Saab. Right from the time when he was even hardly known . His wisdom, his vision, forbearance, openness, and killer analysis. Is completely mind blowing. But after all, he is a human being. Not a divine. And humans base their reason solely on deep rooted convictions and Will. We decide and then deploy all our energy and reason to back up our decision. We decide first. Remember. I am still waiting for the 10th part to come out to hear his final verdict. But so far, counter to my expectations, he has not done a very good job. He tried everything in his arsenal to defend with his full capacity his own version of mainstream Islamic history. The one that his sect requires him to believe. The highly fanciful, self serving and implausible one. Shia school of thought came out as an opposition to the mainstream, his entire attempt to refute the criticism and overlook the loop holes, sounds like PTV to me: A state tv channel that wants to create a false utopia. DG ISI, CAOS following the prime minister in awe. Ghamidi saab is taking the utopian and fanciful view for Islamic history for granted. He likes us all to think that they all drooled over each others in love, they killed out of knowledge, executed out of compassion, persecuted out of understanding. Come on, gimme a break Ghamidi Saab. No history will take this self righteous version for granted. It simply is not possible in any history.
I see alot of people objecting to ghamidi sahibs view on this sensitive issue but no one actually presents a reasonable counter narrative. All just keyboard critics
