Wuthout embarassing him, one wud like to ask if he would collaborate with genuine scholars on excavating the incredulous history of pan India that lies buried by colonial caprice and Marxists of later hue? The Ahoms, the Cholas ,The Rayas of Vijayanagar, Chalukyas and so many else ? Can he ever dare to look at the scholarly work by somebody like Vikram Sampath and collaborate with him? Or revisit historians like Radhakumud Mukherjee or RCM ? Does he have the honesty to explore the role of nationalists of 19th century and early 20th century ? If he does not , then he too will pass into history one day as a fearful survivor and little else.
