Hey man, I started playing Grim Dawn a few months ago, started with SC ranged Purifier and then I wanted to complete the game with my first HC character; and this build got me through HC Ultimate today :) (No luck finding any Targo items, the Grey Knight or most of the other items yet though xD) Thanks for an awesome and really well explained build dude, keep it up!
hey can i ask how did you level up? im in the same place as you.... trying my hc char with this build, just curious what skills did you use to level up
great video, great builds, wow! i am impressed. i am new to this game and this is exactly what i needed, an explanation for everything! still one question left: how do i get these lategame items? are they completly random and are able to drop everywhere or only on bosses or specific places? i looked up for some more builds and on grimtools it says sometimes in the item desciption on the bottom right: "ashes of malmouth". so if it is for example this, does it only drop in the area of "ashes of malmouth"? or everywhere as long as i own the dlc? this thing had me confused alot :D and for some gear there is no location at all, so this could drop everywhere?
If it says "dropped from: ..." the item is targetfarmable. If it doesn't say that, it's not, so a random drop. The "Ashes of Malmouth" and "Forgotten Gods" markers only mean that you need to have those expansions installed for the item to drop. It does not mean that they will only drop in xpac areas, they are still either random drops that drop anywhere or specific drop when it says "dropped from: ..." Most of the items on this char are random drops aswell. You can check out the grimtools link in the description and also search for the items in the database.

Hey man, really enjoying your videos and trying to model my toons based on your guides. What are your thoughts on making a purely Physical Retaliation build focused on Callagadra's Visage. I am tempted to try to level up a new toon for this purpose. Do you think it makes sense? What other gear would you recommend for a build like that? Thx.
Phys retal builds with Callagadra's Visage are some of the strongest builds in the game. I don't have a char like that right now, but you can check some of the guides on the forum like forums.crateentertainment.com/t/1-1-8-1-physical-retaliation-warlord-3-builds-eor-included-crucible-455-sr-105-110-ravager-012-callagadra-033-crate-boss-facetank-75-76-farmer-bonus-sr-135-video-with-tank-setup/93029 or forums.crateentertainment.com/t/1-1-8-0-sentinel-of-the-three-witchblade-cr-4-40-5-50ex-naked-100sr-with-fevered-rage-2-5kda-celestials-ravager-33-sec-crate-1-min-facetank-callagadra-44-seconds/97454
What a crazy build 🤯 the stats it gives us awesome, I would try it on elite when I finish my first build and end veteran. The stats are very high, especially the shield which gives so much resists, I would like to find it somewhen 😌
hello dude what is your favorite character combination i also have 100 lwl cabalist character i am wondering i can't cut super boss how do i need to line up 👋
hmmm, probably a Conjurer, it's crazy strong both as a vitality caster and a pet build. Super Bosses require special prep, all of them require your build to have good damage mitigation and sustain. Then on top of that Mogdrogen requires you to overcap lightning res by 80% (also cold res by 80% ideally aswell due to one of his pets dealing cold dmg), Ravager requires you to have good phys res (50%) and Callagadra requires you to have good phys res + armor or crazy phys res (80%). Ravager and Calla can also be killed by kiting then around for the entire fight, but that needs you to be spot on with your defensive/dodging skills.
I know it’s been so long since this video , is this build still good ? And I started this game few days back, can you do a gear progression ? It would be very helpful
This build might need some small tweaks here and there but overall still is very good. For leveling just use a 2hander and spam forcewave or level with blitz with the new MIs.
53% without ascension and 80% with ascension is enough on a build like this imo. You can always kite around during ascensions downtime as this is a DoT build anyway. You can see that e.g. in the SR 51, Ravager and Callagadra videos.
This exact build is dependant on the Targo set to work. Warlord in general is a decent beginner class. For beginners I would rather suggest you e.g. my Leviathan Deathknight, my Dark One Conjurer or any other Dark One vitality caster (Cabalist/Ritualist/Conjurer) or Krieg set DK.
