I hv a 5.1 Philips home theater system hts3152. The speakers are really good but the Player is not working and beyond repair as per service Center. Is there a player or device in market that I can use to make Speakers useful again? Else these speakers are just lying idle.

Almost Complete for this Review. But unfortunately, you can't show installation of back panel 5.1 one by one until 6 RCA Cables (Red and White Cable) installed as on the source to DAC on each of RCA inputs. 🙏🙂

I have Sony 5.1 Blu Ray but player is not working now so is it advisable to use this Device or buy a new DVD player I am also planning to use it regularly on my Smart TV
It is just a DAC. You also need an amplifier between your speaker and this device. And I am highly doubtful about this machine. Better buy an AV receiver and use your old speakers with that.
Mere paas ek Philips SPA5190 5.1 home theater hai, maine ese LED tv ke 3.5 mm jack se sound input diya hai, sath hi rear speakers me 5meter extension wire add kiya hai. But before adding wire and after adding wire I found that low volume coming from rear speakers in case of pro logic on. Please ye hame bataye ki 1. Rear volume ko increase kaise kiya ja sakta hai. 2. Real Dolby sound HD channel se pane ke liye kya karna hoga, is HD audio Rush is good option ? Or anything else ?
You cannot get Doly digital or DTS with tv output of 3.5 mm. The input must be from Optical or coaxial. Set top box will be having Optical and Coaxial output. Try this. Secondly audio drops in your rear speaker due to increased resistance of extended wire. You need audio grade cable. Individual channel increase / decrease volume is feature of your audio amplifier. If it is not there then not there.
Maybe yes....there is one button in this decoder.....you push and it will convert 2.1 to 5.1....i saw this in one video..... Stop this video at "2:48" and see button named "2.1/5.1"

I have bought a new same decoder yesterday, I have connected the same as shown n given to my inbuilt amplifier home theatre. I have connected my tv thru optical fiber n the same to the decoder. Still I am not getting any sound in the home theatre. I have changed the decoders for the second time. But no sound coming. Please reply me back as soon. Thanks
The 1st mistake you did was buying this crap. The 2nd mistake was asking this dude who knows very little. The 3rd mistake is you didn't mentioned the make and model of your tv and home theatre.

I have conected with my Tata skay +HD box with coaxial cable and Truvision Home theater wth all connections. But while switch on set top box and Home theater the sound goes to tv not Home theater.

I have purchased recently 5.1 Philips home theatre..I connectd wires from setup box to woofer..nd video is wire connected to TV nd audio wires to the wooffer....when I switched on to you tube the sound is coming from TV not frm speakers.nd TV audio also coming..Wt is the solution...

@@amanahmad9372 definitely this will reduce the audio quality not going to help Better to use adapter instead of these cheap fake DAC It’s not about supporting codecs it’s about delivering them Example all tv in market says HDR No tv even reached 1000nits to provide you basic HDR 10 (except for few tv)

@@amanahmad9372 just do to a local store or Amazon and get a adaptor to spy the audio it should be fine if you want a real DAC then it will cos you more Or you can still buy this and get real 6 channel audio but you will definitely loose audio quality
@@amanahmad9372 If you want to pass 5 high end power full speakers through this DAC then do you mean you don't even have an AMP in that case the audio quality will be crappy I have a 4 .1 setup with a 1000RMS sony system with virtual surround and super giant sub woofer but I give it only 3.5mm aux input but some how I can feel the 4.1 effect its not true 4.1 but i don't know how but my speakers separate audio i can hear background form the rear and audio movement everything is excellent somehow I don't know how but in this case my computer is my DAC and my AMP is my AMP which is connected to the speakers, So you can even spend and build a HTPC instead of cheap DAC boxed\s
