Saturday August 22, 2015, NKP 765 ran excursions between Allentown and Pittston and Return. We chased the train from Allentown to around the Pittston area and back. The train stopped in Jim Thorpe for some time and met with R&N 425 and then took off again. This rare, historical event was a sight to see with 765 echoing through the Lehigh River Valley.
