Yeah, one of the biggest letdowns in p5 for me is the lack of amazing moments like this. All the special days out with the group felt lackluster to me, this one scene alone is better than all the p5 ones combined for me

Yeah, I ended up being much more emotionally attached to the P4 cast than the P5 cast. It felt like we didn't see enough of the characters in P5 just being normal kids like this. I really enjoyed the mundane life aspects of P4, where the characters felt like normal kids who didn't need an identity like "phantom thieves" to be relevant. They were simply well defined by their colorful personalities and "team development" moments like these. It felt like every bit of characterization outside of the SLs in P5 was plot related and scenes they had to flesh out the characters just being themselves with their friends in daily life felt too few and far between. Everything just felt homogenized into being "phantom thief" business and I think it really took away from how much I could relate to them or see them as a genuine group of friends. The P4 characters felt like they played off each other so much better because of an abundance of moments like this that just made the group click and have more chemistry than P5's phantom thieves could ever hope of replicating.

@@TheRawyan No, that's still Troy. Matthew Mercer never voiced Kanji until the side games that released after Golden. Only Chie and Teddie had their VAs replaced in Golden, and both had their entire dialogue re-recorded from ground up to keep the voice consistent between old and new content.

@@edmundpark8107 Matt Mercer first voiced Kanji in the 2nd half of the anime due to Troy Baker went for his honeymoon. Troy managed to come back for Golden and Arena. Starting from Arena Ultimax, Matt took over the role permanently.

P6 will probably bring that back alongside school clubs.

This is why Persona 4 remains my favorite. The Investigation Team genuinely felt like friends who just enjoys spending time together. In Persona 5, I feel like everyone treated Joker as the hero who can solve it all. In Persona 4, Yu felt more like one of the gang, which made me feel part of the group so much more.

Also what doesn't make sense to me(well a LOT of anime tropes make no sense to me)vis how girl swimsuits and even girls underwear are considered "lewd" even though male swimsuits and underwear are not, but to me they neither are lewd, I just see them as articles of clothing

It kinda makes sense that nosebleeds represent boners (albeit in an exaggerated way). When you get sexually aroused, it makes you blush and all the blood rushes to your face (the nose being part of it).

yeah, same. My opinion is: P3 best atmosphere and story, P4 best characters and music, P5 best gameplay and art style.

My opinion is P3 experimental mess that you'll love where all the characters would draw their personas because they could, it had a dark story but it was amazing as well P4 is a redundant kind of story, throw in tv, rescue, party member, a lackluster plot but daaamn did they focus on the character dev and the team interaction P5 though, the plot was fucking amazing but it lacked what P4 had, the character moments.

Don't talk about Her, Yukiko and Rise's abilities
