I'm trying to connect my computer to my LG tv with a VGA HDMI adapter and everything seems to be working. I plug the hmdi end into the tv and it says HDMI 1 available. But when I go onto HDMI 1 it says no signal. Can you help me out please I can't seen to figure it out. I have also tried the other HDMI slots on my tv and they don't work either.
I am sorry, I think this one would require me to see the set up in person and to be on site to be able to help. It's possible the signal is not compatible or the adapter is not converting the signal properly. Do you have a monitor or another TV that has both a VGA and HDMI option available? Do you have a way to test the cables and adapter in a different set up? Could be a setting issue, I would suggest maybe trying different resolutions in the settings. Sorry I don't know if any of this is usefull.
@@NicksTVRepair I have tried to set up the computer to some other tvs around the house and they also haven't gotten a signal either so it might be the adapter itself which is a bummer because I've been waiting awhile for it to be delivered to me but thanks for taking the time to reply to me I appreciate the effort 😅
