I love the videos on coin collections. Them can never get old to me. Doesn't matter if the same coin comes in every day to be sold to him. The fact that it comes from a different person and the stories they tell from how they got it or so on always makes it different.

What kind of pricing standard did you use to buy the collection? Was it spot? A percentage below spot? I wish I had the opportunity to buy gold and silver privately. By the time I pay premiums and Maryland taxes I'm paying at least $5.00 above spot. I added together what I payed for my 185 ounces of silver and it averages at about $27.00 per ounce. If I were to buy it for $1,000. per purchase I could avoid taxes but I don't make enough to do that. I am in it for the long haul so I still buy every month regardless of the premiums and taxes. In the past I have had several private sellers for Morgan's and constitutional silver but since I moved into a small town in the mountains it is very hard to find private sellers. It's just too secluded here.

I watch a lot of mostly raw garage sale videos at 2x speed. But your videos are basically the best find you had. But then you also show some profit from the store, which these other garage sales guy can't match.

I guessed 15k... Some of the coins in sleeved plastic were "ratty", not very good. Predicated on the mintage, the number actually produced, the quality of the coin it varies RADICALLY.

oh i forgot to put in my last comment the whole reason i wanted to comment > i never understood people who sell ( especially someone who stacks coins or Gold and silver ) ,, why why do they sell when the price is so low > and then buy when it is going to the moon > i mean i get it > you may need cash now BUT this is why you need a little cash savings > to use when you metals are down -> it is Fiat > the US is in some big trouble > I think we’re gonna lose the reserve currency I mean the Gov destroys small business we don’t make anything here anymore, You keep printing currency or Fiat I mean > stop all these wars bring manufacturing back and prop up your small businesses. I have been buying gold and silver as a dealer since 2006. To me it was a vey fair price. Every business has to make a profit. Ebay charges about 12%-14% in fees. Auction companies charge about the same plus a buyers fee of 10%-15%. When you need cash money today you don't get max money for items.

quick glance, I think ~$20k max retail in 2023 market. Maybe $25k Ebay before the listing deduction. $9k is good for both of you considering costs and profit margins. Too bad for him he needed the money so fast, but good for both of you in the circumstances.
