We found another one! Twin engine cars are just something else, the people who build them are just on a different wavelength to other car builders.
This is a Vauxhall Astra MK3 converted to a pick up and then converted again to have two Saab 2.3 engines, one running the front wheels, one running the back!
The front engine made 730HP & rear engine made 686HP, making a combine total of 1416HP! ABSOLUTELY UNREAL FROM BASICALLY STOCK ENGINES!

i seem to remember a rally car years ago that ran 2 engines front engine ran less hp than the rear front engine on a auto box rear was manual was an absalute weapon n done well i shall try to find the info on it nice build 😎

Hearing two engines starting one after the other in a car will always catch me by suprise.That launch is wild lighting up all four wheels.Saab might be history but builds like this reminds us they could engineer a engine with some serious potential.

Drove a brown astra van when I was 16 just not as fast 🤣 diesel was torque though my mate put his hand down and held it gear I thought clutch had gone happy days

I always wondered why the twin engined boys didn’t make up or repurpose a knuckle from another car Like , use the initial geometry set up you get from a front set up in the back …. Then make up new arms with a traditional bush and through bolt set up . Then fabricate / modify / repurpose a knuckle Just wondering is all as I’m no expert

A lot of people who build these don’t expect the bug to catch them. Am they build them with front suspension. For myself my skill level was low when I first started an knew no better. Also remember there no reference to go to and ask advice. The group of us who own these is tidy. This is why I am trying to document everything to help us all. We are on with sorting hopefully the gio by moving the tie bar location.

You do it all initially then look back with new experience and think ‘god I wish I’d done that differently’ You’re a clever dude I know you’ll get there and your car will be monstrous
