The last website reminds me of when I started freelancing . My 3rd client used to work for a construction company but left to start his own construction company. Since he's offering similar services to his former employer at first he wanted me to clone his former employer website. I copy the text & photos. That really made me uncomfortable and I was able to talk him out of it

your are great, i learned a lot from you. we are making a website where we provide house plan, and construction estimation services, i am facing a issue to making a dashboard for my client where they can see their order, work progress and after complete the project they can easily download the files and also check their invoices, could you suggest me any plugin. thanks

I'm curious about something. Is it wrong to keep the design if you have bought a template? I'm right now working on my portfolio on Webflow and bought a template since I lack a bit when it comes to UI or graphic design. I recently took my exam in digital design (3 years) but the program was extremely theory-based, and we spent very little time working on our practical/visual skills. I am actually very frustrated about that because I am very interested in arts and aesthetics. Now the projects I'm presenting on my portfolio are not the best looking sites and look a bit unprofessional. I bought the template because I wanted to try to focus more on presenting my projects well without having to spend extra long time learning how to design a great visual portfolio. My goal is to become a UX-designer or doing design research.

@@xavierian6314 I tried a bunch of so called "caching and speedup" plugins. The only one that really made an impact was WPRocket. Surprisingly not the cheapest around but it does the trick for me so far and keep in mind that researching another hoster and moving the website is time consuming as well.

You are awsome! I have a question. Some clients asks for SEO. When they search the website on google, they want thier website to show at the top. SEO plugins don't work on all websites like that. What do you use for SEO?

Hi, you have to understand that you won't get SEO by only installing a plugin on your website. The plugin only give you a guidance on what things in your content you need to improve, so you can rank better. If you need to rank in the top, you have to decide which keywords you want to rank for, study your competition and then optimize and/or create content on your website that include those keywords. SEO is a "long game" and is time-consuming.

i had a prospect that wanted the excact same design as i made for one of my clients. I told him i can't do that and offered him to create something custom in the same direction. he said no because no budget. 6 months later, i learned he got someone who would copied it, incl. images & texts. He and the developer got sued hard by my client in multiple times the amount my offer was, for the custom design. It was a fun & educational experience tbh... 😂

Aleksa is slightly snarling in his photo. I think a genuine smile is better. Also, reduce the animation durations just a little bit. Consider using a color palette tool to help you build a color scheme centred around your brand/logo ... use only colors from your scheme; the logo looks out of place on this site a little bit, some color harmony required. Email deliverability is a platforms ability to bypass spam filters and reach inboxes and utlising DNS records like dmarc etc. to ensure good deliverability - do you mean, email marketing?

You should mount your websites behind a mask or some sort of url protection, tools like HTTrack are used for this kind of plagiarism and are an actual pain in the ass.
