I looked at indoor and outdoor season ranks i think Dominick Brister has a chance to be something special he ran a 20.3 46.4 6.6 60m and got second in the 200m indoors
As someone considering D1 track and field for the long jump and 300m Hurdles, which marks should I aim for before I begin messaging schools about my track stats?
Honestly, it all depends on which schools you are looking to be recruited by. In general 21 feet for example would be the minimum for almost any D1 school to consider a jumper. But there are some “the top ranked programs” that would likely want to see at least 23 or even 24 for example.
@@SCATrackandField I agree, if you are elite than 23 to 24 feet minimum to be considered.......as far as the 300 hurdles......you probably have to run in the 37s or lower.......for them to consider as well..........not all D1 programs are elite though......and you probably could get in with LJs PRs in the 22 ft and 300 herders 38 or 39 seconds........
