Welcome to episode #5 of Noobs in disguise. Your 7th favourite starcraft II duo lambo and harstem are back to give you some insane Noob in disguise action. Email for replays: Harambosc2@gmail.com
This was painful to watch. No matter how entertaining, it's still painful. I so wanted to shout at the red toss whenever he move-commanded his units back and forth while being fired upon.
honestly, these painful ones are my favourites... I do love watching high level games like Reynor vs Gumiho or ShowTime vs Cure... but it is just different kind of thrill
I actually guessed this 2300, because if you watch unit movement, it was pretty clear neither player knew how to a-move. That also might be why the red player kept hold positioning, so that his units can attack different targets. From my experience players learn existence of a-move somewhere in gold, because that is where sending 12 scvs across the map at the beginning of the game no longer wins games with little micro.
A few years ago I was rushed by 12 scvs. It was a new map pool, I was diamond I think. I was watching the map layout, it was quite unique. Before I realized, I lost a few probes and the game. Maybe with good reaction it was still winnable, but that guy has got me mentally - I didn't even think I can lose.
Sometimes I watch replays and scream at the screen to do this and that and hear back in my mind "Not enough IQ, build more neurons". Truly something is wrong with me.
1 protoss move commanding and right clicking units, and the other using hold position for some reason. Incredible, mate you are playing protoss. Just A move 😂
i totally agree on the part about lower league games being more entertaining on certian aspects than pros because of how unpredictable they can sometimes be. on the other hand there is always this awesome thing about watching a pro pull off really good micro/timings
Is it imba or do I suck is players losing unwinnable games and noobs in disguise is players winning games they should have lost.? Ya gotta love to see it
I definitely agree that all these fancy units from HOTS and LOTV are not worth my time, i only play with units from wings of liberty. To be honest, do things like mines, oracles, cyclones and adepts actually exist? ive never built them so I'm not convinced.
My main is protoss and i have used adepts well only one time, because i randomly got build order right. Also i have no idea what oracles are, but i am aware about mines, they are great, just try making some for defence.
