I'm gold. True story. I lose to proxy. BUT if you are able to defend it, you win 100% of the time because they never play passed proxy. They don't know what to do.
I first got out of bronze by winning a bunch of games in a row with what I called an "oracle rush", which is what pros call a "standard oracle opener". If your opponent has no anti-air, a single oracle just wins the game
I guessed mid gold just because the proxy attack probably usually works. But then when it fails they look extra incompetent because they don't have any experience.
lack of scouting, no macro, no micro. How can u say diamond? You mean when protoss had only 6zealots and 1probe and nothing to do so he sent those zealots to scout for base? Thats diamond for you? BTW if u r ever in same situation. Use patrol command. He had enough zealots to patrol all minerals. Each zealot patroling one small area. Terran wouldnt have chance to start mining and for toss it would take 20clicks
They saw how bad the toss handled one tank and a planetary, now imagine... 2 planetaries and multiple tanks. I totatly believe this is plat 2, planataries are very scary alright.
Both Captain and Lambo tired from the 30 minutes game forgot how did it started. These 2 players just make all their wins in first 4 minutes. 4 Rax, and proxy multi-gate zealots are very powerful in lower leagues. So they do not know what to do after minute 6. Thats why are the plaing lige 2000 MMR.
That BM was so cringy, holy cow the guy sucked at absolutely everything and played much worse than the toss yet he feels superior enough to badmouth someone obviously better 😂
Warp gate and robo production screams at least gold 2 intrinsically and banshee and cloak implies at least gold 1. the micro and macro after the base trade was solidly plat 2 for both players, excluding the terrible planetary trade, zealot control and loss of nexus all imply the Toss at least is recently out of silver which also explains why their micro was so insulting to the Terran, because they just started getting to looking down on silvers after making it out of silver probably a month or two before the toss. This is also supported by the Terran still not knowing the power of orbitals which would at any point boost their mmr by 2-300 in a few hours
A silver player would never have scouted with zealots, would never have pulled back stalkers and attacked only with colossus, and might've gged after losing the entire stalker force because of a misread of game state. People really overestimate the lower leagues.
ok but do this with the terran player now. I agree that the toss looked better than silver(not much tho), but the terran could have easily been bronze. Nothing he did made any sense, a plat player usually can do things that resemble real sc. Like a okayish early game build, not horrible macro, a fine army comp and important upgrades. Or at least can either rush somewhat decently or turtle to bcs or simple mech well. Nothing he did suggests he even knows the tech tree...
@@norberthiz9318 I remember when plat players learnt how to do really good timing push with decent micro, but what separated them from diamond was they GG after their rush was defended. This plat2 is like 2leagues far from it.
I’ve played both of these races to plat (1 for Protoss, 2 for Terran. I’m sorry to say, this is very believably plat 2 in my mind. My guess was gold 1, but I wasn’t surprised.
yeah exactly. But its still shamefull that those players get to 2800. Those longer games are about experiences and about game knowledge. You cant use same logic to understand if you are ahead or behind as in normal game (after game is reset). It adds stress and stress leads to loss. Games after reset can have endless options of any cheese so you cant play standard. Because those players were low they had no idea what to do and therefore their performance looked very low. Main reason why they got so high is that ppl obviously losing to 3g proxy at 3k MMR because they dont scout at all. If ppl care about scouting at 2k MMR those players we just saw would be 1800MMR.
Well that's how far cheese gets you. Just in this case both are cheesers and both cheeses go wrong so none of the players knows how to play an actual game of sc2.
The problem here is that you'd probably lose a high amount of games to the proxyrax/gates while being significantly better in the macrogame. People at 3k tend to have very bad cheese responses.
Isn't the ebay the cheapest building to wall with? So if you plan on proxying all your production, building the ebay in the wall seems somehow reasonable.
