This video is some of the best advice a veteran wow player can give. Don't lose your mind, don't yell at people, try to recognize your mistake and improve, relax and take responsibity, carry on and have fun.

It's funny with that healer saying "guys kick". I had a pug in a 17 or 18, I forget the dungeon. Say the exact same thing "guys kick, holy shit" I was really confused because this mob we fought couldn't be kicked or stunned. But he was 100% serious. Just kind of funny seeing that interaction.

That shaman is never going to progress with a mentality like that. They are facing the second hardest packs in the dung on fortified week where if you don't los or use personals you're gone. The healer alone can't carry you through it as it's a group effort to survive. He dies two times and immediately considers leaving the key. With an attitude like that he's never gonna reach anything above a +10.

Love this man, amazing content so funny and also informative. The sad part is this should be a learning curve moment where you ask yourself "why do i keep dying on these keys, what am i doing wrong?" But this lil fella has the "it cant be my fault" mentality. Guy has no idea whats even killing him but rather than checking recap, decides to go full pyscho mode and blame the healer. Classic.

Reasons like this is why Im not confident in going for anything higher than +9 keys atm while tanking, and when I have my own key around that I always put "Chill Group" in my title since Im just wanting completion in the long run.

This 100% sounded like me when i first began to do Mythic+ (S1 Legion). I thought the dungeons wasn't that hard, but when i began going into the 20 range you could definitely see that they keys is begging to be really hard, even with one mistake you're dying. And ofc me standing in shit and stuff began to blame the healer for something that was just not the healers fault. Now 3 expansions later and i'm doing 23-24 keys (with mythic+ team but somestimes pugs), i began to start healing and i can definitely see that it's way harder to do than dpsing, there is just so much more you need to keep track of as a tank or healer imho. I ran a few keys with some guildies a few days ago. Timed them just fine, 17-18 keys, then learned yesterday from another guildie that ran with us that the tank and his dps friend straight up flamed and trash talked behind our backs even though literally nothing went wrong with the keys we did lol

Classic. And you are 100% correct, the first two to three pulls in that dungeon are almost entirely personal responsibility related issues. Even if the tank had done perfect interrupt, Deathgrip pull kicks he (The shaman)still would have died to the same things. Tanking on corner so you can just strafe slightly to avoid the dot entirely, moving away from spiteful so you don't get melee'd. If it's too hard to focus up and do on a 10 then you're not going to be skilled enough to go into anything higher. And there's no personal defensive tracker(which I run to see if people use their CDs which are usually 45 second to 1min and drop DMG intake from 10-40% depending on which they use.) but I would put MONEY on them not using any. Higher keys you have to push other buttons, you have to be spatially aware of what's going on. But alas, some folks just want to UNGA and BUNGA and not use their eyeballs or stretch their finger to a different key.

you made me crack up when you said age in m+ rating. Last week I had a great key that I wasn't recording where my team died 24 times before the first boss on jade serpent most of it due to tidal wave, I was alive the whole time with the highest amount of interrupts. after that they all managed to die on that same boss where I had to 1v1 10% ( i took a while XD) for reference these guys were all above 2.2k IO and no idea why they were dying... obvious to say one of the dps left shortly after

Off topic. I’ve found out recently as DK you can pull the trio behind the closed doors before the last boss by going close, waiting 2 seconds and using blood boil. I often use it for efficiency in tyrannical combined with another pack or in fortified combined with the third boss in dragon form.

Im pretty sure some people dont even understand that mythics have affixes, they just see that they get a key in their bag from the vault and go directly to the group finder. Which sucks cuz on my alts sometimes i just want to run some low keys for the weekly and its disturbing how many times people will actually fail a +2

My shaman is 2450, R druid is 2050 ish and my blood dk alt is 1300 with no main RIO link and I've seen some unreal blunders pugging keys. We had 3 wipes on first boss in tojs on first boss and disbanded the key. The dps and healer were 1900-2k average and died to wash away/splash, first trash pack we had deaths to a fail clear. Some keys are just doomed from the start.

wholeheartedly agree to the ending if you keep rage quitting you’ll never learn i clip and review mistakes frame by frame with my M+ squad not because i want to blame them but because we don’t see some stuff in the moment vs frame by frame sometimes idek what happens but someone else will notice and that’s how we progress as a group ❤

My worst wow experience as a first timer in this game, is that in an heroic dungeon (I would slightly understand in a mythic+ but~) they kicked me for asking if it was better to go left or right in netharius. I was the tank.

I guess I should start recording because these videos are only 1/10 of the suck I’m experiencing. It’s just jaw dropping and I don’t understand how these players are getting both gear and rating.

That guy is setting himself up for disappointment if he's already getting upset over 2 deaths in those hallway pulls. I'd even consider that a success on fort weeks. As a healer it's the 2nd hardest pack in the dungeon.. I'm always expecting at least 1 death there lol

4 kicks up, at least 1 thunderstorm and 1 incap, a sundering stun, probably 1 or 2 stuns from warrior

i bet the healer thought the water element could get kicked. Tidal burst has such a massive cast time its really questionable

This was a mixture of lack of experience, and severe tank anxiety (which your videos have helped with a little in the past) causing bad choices. As a healer, my biggest pet peeve is a player complaining about lack of heals during burst windows. If not 1 defensive was used, please don’t blame the healer - it’s user error at that point

We had someone do this in one of our heroic guild runs a week back (not a guildy), calling out no interrupts with logs showing he interrupted twice over 8 pulls on Dathea, all attempts included. I feel like the player base is somewhat declining in skill, as even the most simple mechanics in lesser content (sub 10 keys, lfr/normal/heroic) get ignored constantly. Perhaps a modern mandatory proving grounds requirement would help?

In Jade Serpent I've never had a group breakup after the first boss, but at least 4 that broke up at first boss or before. I really don't get why people have such issues with it. The unstoppable AOE damage is pretty high from the water elementals but the rest of the fights are literally free.

in a +14 temple yesterday when 2 of the DPS die to 1 shot 360 degree frontal, didnt even try to move, then leave and brick my key.. they were 1800+ rating 400ilvl too btw. Ragnaros players can SMD

I didn't record the actual run, but had this happen on my alt priest yesterday in a +6 AA: [Everyone zones in] Preservation : mr tank one of your rings arent enchanted Vengeance : what of it Preservation : you arent cheaping out on us are you Vengeance : either your here with us or leave Preservation : rough sense of humor i guess. good luck [Preservation leaves the party] I don't blame the healer for leaving but I don't understand the confrontation in the first place. 70 secondary stats aren't going to make or break any key, and opens the door to someone being an asshole. We replaced the healer, timed the key (barely). I wish I had recorded. I did what I could to contribute to kicks and stops and definitely failed a bit on Crawth when wind goal was done first and I was pushed into a tornado but now I know that those will one shot me on higher tyrannical keys, not a thing I've had to deal with playing melee. I like following your rule of thumb of staying quiet in keys but chime in when I make mistakes I recognize immediately or if we're struggling on a boss and I make an observation that might help the group. Good example of that was in a NO 15 today. We failed hard on the elemental boss, healer was really behind before we even got to the storm where you typically rotate defensives and healer cooldowns to keep everyone topped up. In the second attempt, also a wipe, I noticed _why_ the healer was already behind: protection warrior was running out of melee with the boss to soak orbs without spell reflection up. I pointed it out while we flew back. The tank stood in melee the entire time, everyone was healthy going into lightning storms, and the boss fell over.

I was pugging low keys on my fresh arms warrior alt to build up some score. Got into a 6 smb, a key Ive never failed before on my pally tank (done up to 20) and was thinking the key is so free. Well the leader was asking for people to get into in game voice before the key start, which should have been my warning sign before the key even started but again thought the key would be super free. Key starts, both the DPS are doing healer damage, getting hit by everything, wiped multiple times before first boss, and when we did get to first boss the tank and I 2 manned it because the other 3 died to the big aoe burst and didn't hide. Healer leaves group and rogue said "he's just relogging." The hunter party leader puts us in queue and that was my que to leave party. Admittedly I should have just left the group before the key started and that was honestly my lesson to really heed red flags before the key starts

We need a "left keys uncompletet counter for the PPL! it HAS TO BE like this and the system NEEDS to understand if he got kicked OR LEFT on his OWN (it should ignore keys where 90% of the key was played OR the grp disbanded like 2min after the first one left or so)

I guess everyone gets tilted but it feels like this guy don’t really know what he’s getting tilted over.

it is obvious the tank goes into a pull without a clear plan for how to approch what needs to be done. Like: How do i pull this effectively without friction? What do I interrupt, should i mark something prior to pulling for people to interrupt while I take care of 1 interrupt? And which cast should I interrupt? What defensives should i use and in which order? etc etc Also people typing in the middle of an ongoing pull is a clear indication that they do not know what needs to happen or what is going on.

In my experience, it seems to be Azralon and Ragnaros players that love leaving M+ runs the most. So, I tend to avoid them like the plague.

Oh yes, I see stuff like this a lot. 😅😅 I often pug. What I noticed is that people who act like this always make more mistakes, never use defence CD's and do the lowest dps in the grp.

Yea I have fallen into this trap myself where I made a mistake and then got so upset over it that I left the key, feels really bad looking back, because ultimately you also learn a lot from these mistakes, and you should use them to improve yourself and not as a reason to leave the key It is something that applies to many things in life

The problem is the game doesn't give the shaman any indication that he could have avoided his own deaths. I'm not saying it's difficult to figure that out by learning more about the dungeon, or having WAs and nameplates that make it clear. But I wonder when in low keys how many of the pugs I'm with have no useful add-ons at all

I cant do key higher than 12 with friends,some of them do 20k ish with 394 gear..... I must pug to do 13 15 content.

100% low keys are so much harder to tank and heal. moving my rdrood up from 10-12's into 15's and its 10x easier because people just start to become self aware that they need to do something other than check the dps meters.

Fyi, this is one of the reasons why these players stuck in the lower keys. Dumb is one of them.

Yeah I think also as we move later into the season we are seeing the growth of players who are starting late and are not aware or skilled in general. They are also lazy and don’t try to improve so a combination of that is vast majority of the population of lower keys. So when you start an alt as an experienced player you have to sift through this clump of people who really either don’t want to put in effort and rather blame or are either unaware or confused about mechanics. An analogy for this is college level amateur teams in sports level of play vs professional teams. Drastically different realities on gameplay.

People should be LOSing the eruptions from the water. The monk is struggling to heal every person with the avoidable debuff. That is pretty standard strat and knowledge as well, and yet. The dot is an avoidable mechanic for all 5 players.

Just be mindful that in EU, English is far from the main language, much more than on US servers. 2 were from Russian realms and Ragnaros is a predominantly Swedish/Hungarian server.

I had a group fall apart on the first boss of Nokhud because I had 2 people arguing about when to use hero. It was ridiculous. One wanted it used on the trash before first boss lmao

It's because everyone watches guides by top players and copy's the specs and uis and then think they are also professional players.

i think i know why people are toxic in low levels. and its streamers, and youtubers and videos. its the same in all other competitive style games. people watch others do crazy high content and expect everyone else to be a top tier player. i see it in league of legends too. these kinds have players have some sort of complex like they are on the best level of game play becuase the watched someone else do that high content. just my thoughts

Not for nothing someone created a weak aura to auto decline people who apply to their keys from Rag. Doesn't even seem to matter if it's US or EU, in fact I am willing to bet somewhere in the Chinese region there was a Ragnaros server with all the terrible players on it. Oh man I have missed this. Can't wait to get back to pugging my way to glory.

Personally prefer low keys. I got my 2k and am happy to just carry people through baby keys. It's funner then stressing trying to time 20s.

Bro the lower keys are harder than the higher keys because players don't seem to know mechanics or they don't watch videos on RU-vid on how to do mechanics.

These kinds of groups really highlight why I just leveled solo in DF (which was fun tbh) and then quit. As a new player there is no winning, and you dont have the years of experience to notice that the other players are speaking nonsense. Learn a new class with no heirlooms or good gear at lvl 20 in a classic dungeon? Get flamed for low dps, wrong rotation, why dont you know which way to go etc. Get max level actually know the basics of your class by now and try for normal or heroic dungeon? Get flamed for not knowing every boss, every mechanic, every ability. Like the playerbase really tries its very best to ensure you dont join as a new player.

classic toxic player, blame everyone but yourself, i wish i recorded my most recent av, there was a warrior who was doing the same thing but kept standing in the tank cleaves and the orb thing on the second boss, me and my guildie(their key) just abandoned it when the dude left and we were already 8 minutes left. it was triple warrior(tank and 2dps) me(ww monk) and a shammy healer for lust, it wasnt even a hard key just a +7

Why does talking irritate wow players so much in m+? Honest question. Interacting with other players at all seems to really piss you all off.

I have been playing since this dlc, top dmg in pve i have done and decent work in PvP . Still don't know many mechanics etc. But damn man some of these neck beards need help. just saw a video of someone doing +23 halls of valor with a tank and 4 dpses, meaning no healer in the group. that kinda clearly show if you die as dps, in general its your own fault and noone else.. in low lvl keys most dpses think they can brute force trougth any mechanics, and still be fine. learn to kick properly and not stand in stupid crap, and it gonna help out entire group alot

people don't interrupt even i n15 to 17s man im always topping the interrupts by a big amount as a dps. all my timed keys involved every one doing it my failed higher keys we didn't time from bad interrupts nor people messing up boss mechs
