The boss melee was perhaps from the tank's rubberbanding into the wall/scenary which put him out of range for a split second - so Kops is the next nearest target and gets melee'd.
You don't understand man... you don't dive under the barrier at the start to save time but to show the other plebs in the key that you have the superior knowledge!
@@Blood_Ronin I would not say that at all. They compared them verbally because they wanted to make a point about the active mitigation of each tank. They did not compare them numerically, mechanically, or anything else really. If anything I might say you are so out of touch based on your assertion. But at the end of the day it's a stupid decision from them. They aren't out of touch, just over reacting.
For the last boss, I agree that it must have been shadowmeld. If it was the rock then the threat would not behave like it does. You can see on the unitframes that after he gets meleed, the threat swaps to the Evoker. Then the threat swaps back to the tank during the attack animation while the tank is still on the rock. If the rock was evading it, the taunt would have failed. He would have had to get off the rock to get the boss back, which he didn't do.
i Like your content, being a DK since LK ,the change is no the first time, originally the DS heal was base on your attack power they change that in WOD to be the version we have until TWW, is difficult to word the change because the mechanic in self is unique; but what happen is make a snap shot of all the damage you receive in 5 second and add 30% of that to all your DS heals in that snap shot; with the change the snap shot is only for 1 DS that will consume the sample snap shot. this is a nerf to the dps DK because as a tank the snap shot recharge in a global normally and as Blood DK you can take more that one hit to happen. but the tank and DK community around the Blood spec is, peculiar because they say the get one shot but use the dps engravement no the tank one, even when you have a cap of parry rate. In the beta all Dungeons are over tune, the scaling system don't work ( some stats don't scale equally because you lose a lot in the jewelry), a lot of embellishment don´t work at all and trinket are a shit show. like you say in your others videos, is no the right environment for testing nothing objectively.

so i kinda skipped this season until like 1 month ago. my friends got me back into the game and boosted me up as much as they could. since the change to the key lvls im confused about the term low keys now. like we are playing up to 16s rn. is that low? is 12 low? what are the metrics now? isnt 10 the highest you can go with the vault anyways?
@@decro3177 nope been playing since day one of classic. This is the most toxic behavior I have ever seen. If you believe you are seeing worse please record your runs and send them in. You are likely misunderstanding what is so bad about this run though. Never once have I seen two guys coordinate an attack on a third player, then wipe a boss on purpose to continue targeting him. That's bad. But it gets worse when they then lie to the rest of the group into thinking they needed to do it for the good of the key. This is beyond toxic. It's sociopathic.
Oofta. I'm guessing Kop has really bad vision? His UI is actively sabatoging him regarding them traps early on for example. I know Quazii's Plater profile has voicepacks enabled for important casts and abilities which is crazy helpful. Regardless, what a hilarious key. FWIW the druid might've fatfingered shadowmeld on the last boss, which would immediately drop threat onto Kop.
Freehold one gave me and the people i did keys with at that time alot of laughter. after first pack when you run at the side even if you are not close to the edge you can pull. i got ported up and down constantly on my prot paladin at that time.
Best wishes to Kopp, hope it all goes well whatever the issue is. Honestly with the Kopp melee it seems like it has to be a bug as he still had provoke on cooldown. He did seem to want to punch on with the Treant (and did the frontal there) until the tank collected him again so maybe there was an interaction with that? Maybe Kopp was next on the threat list being melee and because the guy was having connection or latency issues for that split second he was "micro DCed" the threat went to Kopp. That's all I got, is the video on Kopp's channel as i'd love to do some more frame by frame diagnostics.
No matter what . Anybody pulling any hunters in this key shouldn't be playing in the firsr place. There not needed super avoidbale and shall i say more ?
The only reason I can think of is that when the tank walked up on the rocks it caused the boss to be unable to reach the tank (evade bug), so it decided to hit the second highest on the threat (being the melee dps).
I hope Kop is out of the hospital soon. I know what it's like to deal with lifelong health issues. Having support is very important and he's lucky to have a good friend like you.
Pretty sure the reason that Kop got killed (the evoker is just lucky to not die as the boss started a cast instead of melee) was the bear walking into the stones making the boss not having a path or something like to the tank, so they choose the closest melee/aggro. No idea why he was trying to get onto the rocks at all, not really needed. And the tp'ing around is a desync issues, happends randomly when you die and you see it alot during Race to World First and its fixed by doing a /reload on the person glitching around.
@@heythereguysitsMetro Yeah, guess that is also a possibility. Sadly nobody in the group logged the run on warcraftlogs. That said, I've personally died from tanks walking onto weird stuff and mobs just smacking me in the face as the closest melee, which is why I thought that first.
If the tank is not attackable, mobs will switch to whoever is second on aggro or reset. Sometimes they will teleport to the tank. That is why tanking on rocks and other objects you have to jump to get on top of is not a great idea.
Kop is a real one for coming on here and being open about his "tanking anxiety". Something I think affects a lot of people. Him overcoming or atleast dealing with it was really cool. Wish for his speedy recovery!
I wish all the best to kop healthwise. But from watching his gameplay. Man I don't know, but for a guy that has a similar playtime as me hes really not that good.
Actually, if you look closely at the ?, you will not only see there is a space between "what" and the ?, there is also a space in front of his "???". For the last part, I'm not sure what happened there, but I have pulled threat as WW off bears before, even bosses sometimes when they aren't hitting their rotation properly. Or the bear could have shadowmelded. Or the wall could be buggy. Anyways, I hope Kop gets well soon, I love dropping by his streams.
So, looks like on the last boss, the totem has 4.17M hp that is worth about 3% of the bosses HP. When that first totem spawned after everyone died, they were at 15%. So had they stayed on boss, it wouldve been 12%. They did eventually wipe at 8% so that 3% wouldve meant a boss kill but who knows if they wouldve survived to 8% in the first place without killing the totem. I do agree with you though, If I was in that position, I am 100% calling to ignore the totem and send every thing you got into boss, and exhaust all defensives.
Get better soon kop, been missing your streams. Don’t worry about missing the beginning of the expansion I’m sure there will be much needed tuning and when you get back it might all be fixed!
I can understand a little bit that wait by the gate move by the tank after the 3rd boss. because if you are fast enough when it opens, you can grab that Rotsinger mob before he runs all the way up the ramp. It is very annoying if you dont have a grip to move him into the giant pack at the bottom.
You can just interrupt it. Been doing it on my warrior no problem. All the mobs can easily move up to him. But ya I get ya. Still, like 15 seconds of doing nothing is not worth this small optimization.
All my prayers go to your buddy on this day my friend - I usually don't even attempt to skip both packs after the drop down - I just pull the hyena pack onto the bear with the birds .. most pugs end up pulling something anyhow
Best of luck to your best friend. I wish him a speedy recovery! He'll only miss the "hell weeks" anyways ;) Those were nothing works right and everything is overtuned (except for the class Ion plays).
