I fucking paid the for the show! So SHOW, motherfucker!! (I mean seriously. A man shouldn't even have to utter those words at a poker table. I'm sure guys that weren't being televised have lost thumbs for tossing cards that a man paid to see.)
He didn’t pull anything. It took him 5 seconds to flip his cards, which he was reaching for after a few seconds. The other guy was just frustrated that he lost.
Why are people so hesitant to open their cards when they've been called to close the action to showdown? Even if you think you are losing, the other player paid to see your cards. Show some respect and reveal your cards unless the person calling you down opens ahead of you and doesn't request to see your cards.
Well nobody likes getting gutterball rivered when they’ve been making +EV bets all hand and opponent just gets dead lucky… and they know their opponent has enough bluffs that they can’t fold when in their heart they know it’s so likely they hit the wheel…
What's-a matter you? Hey! Gotta no respect? What-a you t'ink you do, why you look-a so sad? It's-a not so bad, it's-a nice-a place Ah shaddap-a you face!
I'm not a Luda fan but he announced his hand immediately and was reaching to flip his cards over before MikeX started bitching at him. If Luda had half a second more he would've had the time to show him the fukcin ace
@Nikolay Komissarenko He was slow but he started reaching before he got bitched at. If he had half a second longer he would've had the time to show him the fukcin ace
@Nikolay Komissarenko he got snapped called... that caught him off guard and wasn't sure his A was good anymore. They sit there for hours, and should have some patience.
I play this game for a living and frequently get praised by the regs and recs at my casino for my good etiquette. If I played this hand I would have snapped table my hand while saying sorry I sucked out on you Mike. There are times when you verbally announce your hand before showing and this is definitely not one of those times. In this situation you are first to show and you have to show anyways to collect the pot, there is absolutely no reason to verbally announce your hand in this spot and I consider it rude etiquette
Luda is 100% in the wrong. He has to open first anyway. Just open your hand or at the very least say you have the A and show it so Mike X can much. Especially after guttering a river
@@Moe_Mentum33 he let him know what he had and tabled. He was in the process of showing when Mike started crying. These guys play all the time with each other, verbal and then table few seconds later is perfectly fine… The End.
Pet peave of mine when villain verbalizes. STFU and table your hand. Quit wasting everybody's time. Trying to be cool? Show your hand. Want attention? Show your hand.
If Big John had been crazy enough to call pre-flop with his 69 of hearts, he would have been in the lead the whole way and on his way to the massive pot.
Bit of a story: I had a time when I slow-played the nuts, went to river and villain shoved, and I snapp called but had a shorter stack. I said to him clearly (and he definitely heard it). "I have nuts, but I want to see your hand," then he responded with "show it." Then we had an argument on who has to show, him arguing "if you have the nuts, it's etiquette to show instantly" and me reciting the rules. Later, he got kicked for different reasons, but he was just a blatant dick to everyone. Show your hand if you got called on river is as simple as it gets.
@@VicenzoV usually if i am not mistaken , you have to show it if your opponent calls , but if you choose to fold then you dont have to show it. Your opponent may ask the dealer to show the card and the dealer has to show it. This is to prevent collusion. Again house rules will matter on the ruling.
@@VicenzoV nah, he didn't say, "You win." he said, "Show it," although I called his all in. At least in the casino I go to, the last agressor must show his cards first (or he can muck). I'm pretty sure this is standard rule in most casinos.
@@VicenzoV He's not wrong. If he calls then his opponent needs to show. Yes, his opponent can choose to throw his cards in the muck if he wants to, but then the caller doesn't have to show his cards either. He just wins the hand.
@@RealRowdyBob I do this so I can get information about what they played with so in the future I could use it to figure out their range. At least I didn't slow roll and announced that I had the nuts.
Well, tbf, the only way he can make this call is if mike has a small stack. He is not drawing to any nutted hand, so if stacks are big, he can hit his card and still get bet off. I am in no way justifying his call, it was very bad. Just saying, if stacks were deep, it would have been worse.
~What did he just say about Ludas Mom~ nobody is gonna comment on this??? 😂😂😂😂 nobody said anything about anybodies momma homie! Shit had me dying Lmao
No he announced his hand without flipping over. People usually only do that if they have nothing and get called. He’s clearly got the winning hand so just flip it over
@@BenjtheStation "clearly got the winning hand"? only because you're watching a broadcast and seeing all the hands. an Ace from mike splits and a Six beats his ace.
If I wouldn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe that people like Rampage and Luda can run this well. They are the statistical anomalies that must be running at least 2SD above avg. It is insane.
@@herrvorragend3542yeah I think all he’s saying is there has to be a handful of people in the world that will just always seem to have the deck on their side, and statistically speaking, this is true. The best poker player in the world could be homeless and on the streets of Vegas, making plus ev bets and getting it in great but getting sucked out on more often than not.
@@herrvorragend3542 What about that was hate? Is this some sort of alternate account or are you just a 1 IQ d-rider? I've followed Rampage since he had +/- 200 subs and everything David Elet said was the truth. You're nothing but a complete fool if you believe otherwise.
Dude, he was working on showing it, he just wanted to say he had the winner so Mike didn't have to sit there and think he might be winning. Mike needs to work on his fucking patience.
After the flop he obviously sees the straight draw. Was kind of dumb play by the pocket 8's IMHO, he could have played a lot more aggressive and pushed him out earlier(before the open ended straight hit the table), but he didn't, he actually decided to go super aggressive once there was an open ended straight on the table, which is just comical really. Besides that, It is absolutely okay to play AK out, as your odds are actually pretty good pre-flop, as long as your opponent isn't trying to push you out of the hand with excessive bets you should be trying to see draws.
There are times when people don't show when they should, shooting angles to control information (Antonio Esfandiari comes to mind first). This isn't that. Mike was just tilted by the bad beat and a little stupid. If you want to play big pots for tons of money with medium strength hands, you need to know what you are doing AND be prepared financially and psychologically for the swings.
The guy wasn't a jerk like the commentator said. He was turning over his cards before he said show me the ace....so if anybody is a jerk is mike for being a sore loser and the commentator for not seeing that happen..
in Luda Chris' defense, mike snap called which made Luda think he obviously had the 6. mike opening the BTN and flatting in position he could have 66, 67s, A6, some 56. if I got snapped there id think he had a 6
It was literally a few seconds of pause after Luda says ace. You can tell Luda thought he was beat or chopping because of the shock of getting insta called. He did nothing wrong, nobody is expected to snap show your hand when called within 3 seconds.
The loser in this hand demanded to see the ace like he hadn't been waiting only 1 second. It's not like the guy was slow rolling him, and he didn't have the nuts
"He (Luda) needs to jam. He (Luda) knows that. Lauren (the dealer) knows that...what did he (Mike) just say about Luda's Mother?!" 🤣🤣🤣 Have DGAF commentate foreverrrrrr, please lol
@@somanysocks5295 don’t think Mike was mad that A got there. He wanted to see BOTH cards cuz he knew Chris was on naked over cards draw to single pair on flop. If Chris had AK ♠️, A9 ♠️, A6 ♠️ or some kind of combo straight/flush/pair draw; hand too strong to fold, that’s poker. But Chris didn’t(case of the blind squirrel 😂).
It's a showdown, not a telldown. When all the action is closed, shut your mouth and let the cards do the talking. At that point you need to convince the dealer to push the pot your way and I guarantee the dealer gives zero funks about what is coming out of your mouth.
@@xaviierm9332 Come on man, I've seen televised matches where pros get upset by ice crunching, toe tapping, finger tapping, sniffling... Chip stacking is worse than any of those.
@@MichaelClark-uw7ex If you play any live poker you'll hear it. It's literally the ambient sound of a poker room 😆 You might wanna stick to online mate.
Looking at the poker table itself: Is there a betting line on that layout? The white line is awfully close to the players. Luda was fiddling with his chips on the inside of that line.
That’s outright ridiculous….Dude keeped calling because of course he had the money too.. But 9 outta 10 times the dude with the ACE loses… Also he keeps playing like that he WILL GO broke..
He had 10 outs on the river, so over a 20% chance to win, which is 4 outta 5 times the dude with the ACE loses, but it cost him a little more than $7,800 to win a $24,000 pot, plus he then took another $12,000 from Mike on the river. That's just about breaking even on the odds if your opponent is dumb enough to call it off.
He just got gutted in a massive pot and you complain how he played it? he got money in while way ahead, you seem like the type of guy who makes a terrible play, get lucky and believe he is better than the opponent because " I wOn ThE Pot, DidN't I?
I know there's probably a lot of deceit and body language reading and hoping that you can guess what a person has but I also believe that poker is a game of honor and if a person calls for pays on a bed I believe they have the right to see everybody's cards at they're betting against to be proven wrong or right
He was obviously going to turn his cards over. Nobody should snap call an all in, and immediately demand the winning hand to be shown. A little patience and respect goes a long way
