My mother has two wiener dogs (dachshund 's I believe) who get a scoop of vanilla ice cream every night after dinner. This has gone on for ten years straight. Last weekend I stayed with them while my mom was out of town. I fed them dinner and myself, then I went in to watch some TV. All the sudden I hear them howling. I go into the kitchen and they're both sitting there by their bowls howling into the air. I told them they already had dinner and to shut up. They kept whining, howling, barking and finally I went out to have a smoke. When I came back in, they both were sitting in front of the freezer door staring at it. I called my mom and asked her what the world they were doing. She laughed and forgot to tell me. I held the phone up so she could hear the ruckus they were making. I finally gave them their ice cream and their lives were back to normal. I almost had a riot. Sheesh!
