What your saying is True but in the end the worse thing you could Ever Do is keep something like that a Secret to then have that child find out Years later down the Line, that just creates Anger Hurt Confusion and so much more and that’s what no one understands…. If he is Angry or Upset you cannot Blame him and be like well we gave him a good life and all these things so why get Mad , that’s not the point of this All …. He had a right to know, regardless of how your family treated or felt about him. It wasn't about that or about you all (or obviously it was). But it shouldn't have; it should have been about HIM and his right to know that your family's blood was not his blood. There is HUGE difference, and a piece of paper doesn't change that. no doubt no he has a bit, if not a lot of resentment, towards your family. but it's the product of the lie(s).

Our parents who brought us up were the best of parents and we would never want to hurt them in anyway. We both did not feel bad we were adopted, actually we still are happy they were our parents. I had to send away for my papers that had my original birth parents on it. For if you travel out of the country, the laws changed that we must have that info. The woman who gave birth to me had 7 other children that said they are still alive and they were my brothers and sisters. I never and will never look for them. We were so very lucky we had our loving adoptive parents. They were the best.

Sometimes it is to protect them from where the came from.I would like to see the whole episode though

Parents Who Adopt don’t fully understand what it does to a Child when You Lie and have them thinking that your their REAL Parent to then find out They Never Were and that you were Adopted all this Time, that’s the Most Hurtful Feeling in The World …. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Me too. I am his other adopted aunt. We always have. Obviously his real family didn't.

There's also been instances where adopted kids inherit medical problems from their birth parents. Are you still saying you wouldn't tell them? They have a right to know. Your feelings do not trump theirs. Yeah, they might be part of your family... but they're still their own person. Therefore, you have no right whatsoever hiding that part of them.
