..... He's a Black Smith Aprentice that is obsessed with Saving a girl he's fantasied about daily, and a person he has never been and has been a lie his entire life with no connection or memories of. His story fucking sucks. there is NOTHING interesting about Will at all. Jack is a MUCH better and more interesting person, which is why everyone loves him more than the other characters. Followed second by Barbossa, and finally by Davy Jonas. Will and Girl he likes are so low on the poll of 'liked characters', that people latch onto the nameless background side villains more than them who are part of the 'main cast'.

@@Jirodyne He literally starts his story being found drifting at sea with a McGuffin and after mistaking his girlfriend for having the connection to the McGuffin it turned out Will was the one with the connection all along and he learns to balance both parts of his life. Meanwhile Jack has wacky shenanigans that do lead into important plot stuff but not as initially and unlike Will who has to adjust to his new life Jack already had that under control. I don’t care what you say, Will’s story interests me more than funny man that I enjoy solely for jokes.
