I didn't like the look at first, but the show is really fun so they've grown on me over time. Especially Skeletor. He just has a cool look.

I've been waiting for these two for what seems like a good six months or so! I'm trying to wait patiently for my local Targets or Amazon to finally get these in, but I might have to make a trek over to Frank & Son to pick them up there. And you're not the only one who absolutely loves this show and would love to see more CGI characters come over to Masterverse. I've been trying to stick to different versions of a few select characters, but I would break that to get the full CGI Masterverse line!

You are not alone in loving the show. I have some minor gripes, mainly how much time is devoted to transformation sequences, but it’s really fun, and I’m sad it seems to be canceled just as Hordak was coming in.

I love origins version of this. And I think they'd all look good in that format. I'd also love to see the Thundercats in origins form.. if they could figure out the copyright

If they keep making from the CG show I'll buy them. Also from the 200X series, I know Origins just released a couple more, Masterverse 200X figures would be instant buy.

Mine came with a super warped sword. Even with hot water, when I try to bend it back into shape the silver paint starts chipping

I love the new Netflix show. I think there are enough audience to continue this in the the Masterverse line. Butbit does get expensive as non of the characters can share molds

This one is gonna be a pass for me, as just stylistically it sticks out too much from my other Masterverse figures. Also I like variety, don't want too many He-Mans, haven't grabbed the Battle Armor He-Man, but I'll probably get the New Adventures He-Man, and definitely getting the movie He-Man.

Looks fantastic, though the peg on the sword is weird. Totally understandable for the kid's figures, but why not make an extra clip that plugs into the back to attach the sword? Get rid of the peg! So strange. Beyond that, though, I'm happy!

Just got my set of that Masterverse wave (as well as the Deluxes and the latest Origins) in from BBTS today. I think making the figure a little shorter was smart, it fits in better with the basic CG figures this way. 👍

I love the design and tone of this show. Honestly I enjoy it a lot more than the "other" MOTU series on Netflix. I'm glad to see they made a more adult collector version of this design.

They should have made the hilt of the sword, and the back of He-Man's harness, as magnetic metal pieces. That way, the sword would magnetize into place rather than use a peg. And if that's not enough of a reason to put metal on this figure, you could also make the feet metal too. It would make his stances just a little bit more solid and would curve some of those weight distribution issues. But I get it. Metal is saved for the really special collectors items, not this line. Too bad, but I get it.

I got 2 of the regular 5”. I plan to get one or two more and then I think that show will be represented well enough. This is an improvement, but I’m good with standard in this case.

Catching up on a ton of videos, but I did want to comment. I pretty much agree with your assessment, Dan. Personally, I feel like the Masterverse versions of the CGI He-Man and Skeletor should have been more in line with the other figures to make them “fit in” more. Much like how the CGI He-Man in the 40th Anniversary 4-pack fits in with Origins quite nicely. It just seems like there’s already a basic He-Man and an oversized He-Man in the CGI line, this is sort of more of the same. Definitely not a terrible figure though…still looks okay.

I really love the show and I like the design of the figure but my only issue is they really dont clash with my other Masterverse figures. If more come out from CGI ill pick these up but if not ill atleast wait for a sale to get them.

While it would be nice, I'm not sure Mattel was too happy about the show and might be planning to do their own reboot as a spin-off to this show soon.

@@CacoTomm_ Keep in mind, Mattel didn’t know if people wanted new MOTU stuff back then, and here we are now with actual new MOTU stuff. Problem is that Dreamworks technically owns the show, not Mattel, unlike He-Man 2021. So there should be negotiations made about the rights for it to happen.

This figure is well done but it doesn't fit in the line. I think it's totally stupid. If it was adapted to the Masterverse "look" it would have been cool but as it is: No way. Easy pass for me. It's the first 2 figures (with CGI skeletor) I don't buy in this line...

I can't believe that Mattel did this in this line?! They may think it's necessary enough but I think it's too robotic and weirdo overall. Even the skeletor esthetic aside👎😃😛

Never have cared for the art style of this show. I have seen a couple clips, and it feels like there is a decent story, but the art turns me off. The disproportionate massive upper body and weak legs are super obvious in the more realistic style than the animated style. It may work for a side character like Ram Man, or Ma’am, but not as a standard body type.
