Mom & Dad are so kind & attuned the their feathered baby’s feelings. If only every animal had people that care this much for them this would be heaven on earth. Thank you for sharing. I wish every p owner would watch & learn from these two.
Yes, that is why he is my most favourite among all the cockatoos I follow ^_^. Compared to Max, Joseph is a sweet angel. Nonetheless, I prefer Max when I need some devilish sass.
I had noticed the wonderful behavior and cooperation. Is he an only bird, like an only child? It appears that constant companionship seems to be the key. Very dedicated owners!
I had a very large cockatoo back in the 90's til I had to find a new home for her but the crazy thing was we thought it was a boy his name was Fred but one day we found a emptly egg in the cage that when we realized it was a girl hahahaha...............that bird loved my young son the most and everyone else but hated my Ex wife ............the family we had found loved birds and had many and lived on a ranch so i was very happy that he would be loved..............I love watching your videos all the time and you really love Joseph and he loves you both.

He is so gentle with that massive beak. He could do a lot of damage but he obviously is very bonded with her. My first thought was that these birds only mimic, and though intelligent they are not thinkers and are not self aware. But the way he went into the cage and tried to poop a few times before he did, and he obviously goes to the same spot, maybe he is self aware. I think when an animal loves a human's company it is better than humans with humans because it is not a natural thing. My dog is my best friend, probably the best friend I have ever had.

This cockatoo is happy because his 'parents' are GENTLE and LOVING (emphasis on gentle). Other people should take serious notes!! I'm always shocked at the way they are treated and expected to "entertain." Parrots are intelligent and extremely sensitive to stress. You do a fantastic job! Thank you! :o)
They are all three kind and gentle and soft-spoken with each other. They are a model of how relationships should be. Joseph is so beautiful and loves being praised.
Too much talk about poop! It is natural, provide him a clean spot. Don’t rush him all the time". Play and love goes a lot further than rushing him to do it when you want him to instead of. Letting him go when he’s ready.
He shows signs and makes a noise that's tells him he has to go,were you not paying attention or is this the only video you've seen because the don't MAKE HIM go poop !!! They both noticed whatever he did and they said "Oh you have to go poop"? "Ok let's go poop first and then you can come play"! Or something along those lines. UGH there's ALWAYS one in the bunch smh
This is an alright video. . . .however, I'm not sure why it's such an important thing that he goes poop, before he does certain things, you guys want him to do. I mean, can't he poop later afterwards later on? ? I mean, l don't see why that's such an important thing that he does that, when you tell him. *Just an opinion.
