Instead of a box of the same item, could you put one of each different character in a lot? A whole box of 20 Patrick Ewing figures are a resale box, but a group of different figures is for a collector. Like the Ninja Turtles figures.

The Ali & Kobe box is a huge hit. The sports cards are a definite look, you will have to go through them one by one. But well worth the search effort.
