Most dish soap will dry your dog skin out because the PH balance is off . You can use dawn original dish soap to wash your dog with. Its been use for years to remove oil from wild life after a oil spill. The PH is around 7 so it makes it safe to use on pets
I’ve used Dawn dish detergent on grease stained clothing for decades and it always gets the stain out. It even will remove a grease stain that’s been overlooked and already been washed and dried. Hydrogen Peroxide gets rid of Blood stains as well. 👍
To clean out a front loader washer's accumulated minerals and soap residue. Load with a few old towels, set on hot/heavy soil, start the washer pause after it starts to fill otherwise it may drain out the vinegar, add 1/2 gallon vinegar and 1/3c blue DAWN dish liquid. You might need to do this several times and follow up with another hot rinse. Keep the towels in there. Be sure to check the washer trap for objects. This works better than any clean washer product and is safer for the machine and environment. Do this once a month as maintenance. Another tip After washing clothes, run washer through a drain only cycle, wipe out the machine including the rubber ring and prop the door open to eliminate mold.
A better way to remove grease/oil stains on cement is to use regular cheap kitty litter and a brick 🧱 Pour the kitty litter on the oil spot, then rub the oil grease spot with a brick. The brick pulverized the litter and the oil magically gets absorbed into the fine litter powder. Vacuum up when done. No more oil stains on cement. 🙌🏼
3:58 if you have a high-efficiency laundry machine then I strongly advise you don't use dish detergent. It can stud up creating a lot of bubbles and lead to property damage. It's better to run out and buy the correct detergent for your laundry machine to avoid any issues.
Hi guys Blue Dawn kills fleas on your pets immediately, lather your pet with it and you will see the fleas rise to the surface of the pets coat dead. It must be the original blue dawn and it's safe.
I use dish soap for all kinds of stains. Usually don't have to scrub with anything. I just put some on the stain, rub in a circular motion for a few seconds, & throw it in the dirty clothes. When I get around to washing, it usually comes clean.
5:11 i use to do that all the time for 7 years it works. when i was washing my hands and tools with dish liquid soap, thats when i see how great it is. i used it remove all stains on the ground
Dawn is the best to break down grease. Within the last year our county said it was ok to have a separate basin for grey water. This is awesome since septic should just be that. Having grey water storage is awesome! We can now use it to water lawns and flower beds. I do believe that this was a great move!!
I rent my dwelling and the bathtub is painted. I find that using Blue Dawn to clean it works wonders and gets any oils out of the paint. I also use Blue Dawn and Hydrogen Peroxide when my dog encounters a skunk. Magic skunk scent eraser.
No. I know a lot of people who put dish washing liquid into a toilet, put dishes in it and then flush it. It's called a poor mans dishwasher @@blackwalnut1943
That dish spray on house does not work cause I've pressure washed every house I've been in with dawn & doesn't combat bugs but removing leaves & high vegetation & not leaving items that will pool & harbor mosquito will definitely help better & a good spray around house & a couple bombs will kill remaining incects hiding from within your home.
Sir, John......thats what rinsing is for.......After your down brushing your teeth with your million dollar tooth paste do you not rinse out your mouth afterwards because it will leave a strong taste of BS in your mouth?
Marilyn I absolutely agree!!!! My Mom ran out of dog shampoo so she used dish soap on her poor little dog. She then called me 3 days later to find out what I thought could be making her itch so bad. Although rubbing a lemon on your dog will deter the fleas for a day or so it is not a preventative or flea killer. Get the right stuff to protect your pet.
He says a drop or two of dish detergent in a load of laundry..she squirts like 3 seconds worth in the washer. That much will cause your washer to suds lock.
Hello again Facts Verse ✋ Thank you for another interesting and informative video. I never knew that there were so many other ways that dish detergent can be used. I’m definitely going to use these new ideas around my house. I hope you and your subscribers have a wonderful day ☀️
If you have a tub or shower that you don't want to use harsh scrubbing products on used Dawn dishwashing soap. I prefer the concentrated Blue one. It works unbelievably well with hot water; makes quick work of bathtub "rings".
Re: you forgot to mention putting a sudsy collar around the dog’s neck so all the fleas don’t run to the dog’s head and eyes ( before you suds up the rest of the dog.)
You didn't say anything about how AWESOME IT IS FOR WASPS... Get a pump sprayer and put about 1/4 to a 1/2 cup of dish soap in it and fill with s slow steam of water so it wont make alot of bubbles, screw the lid on and pump it up 15-20 times. When you spray wasps they will typically fall to the ground and crawl about 2 feet and game over for them. Make sure to set the spray head nozzle to a more of a shower type spray pattern and not a stream pattern. PS: DAWN BRAND WORKS BEST..
Dish soap...shampoo...laundry detergent...hand soap..... At some point and other, I've substituted one of these for the other. Yes: each is formulated for its specifically intended use. Yes: each CAN sub for the other in an "Oh, snap!," moment.
I've been using ORIGINAL pine-sol on all types of insects for 30 years works great ants, spiders, bees, wasps, etc. About 3 or 4 tablespoons in 1 gallon and use a spray bottle. The pine oil is what does the trick.
You can wash anything that can be washed with soap with dish detergent...floors, windows, counters bathrooms, clothing (Ivory liquid is great for delicates or pretreating).
with the oil in the driveway, there is one other way of getting it off the concrete, get a bag of cat litter and pour some on the oil spots and use your foot to grind it on there and sweep it up and the spots will be gone. It works for me all the time
I have been using Morning Fresh dishwashing liquid (Australia) as my soap/body wash for the last 30 years. I work in remote areas with hard water (normally bore/dam water) and conventional soaps and body washes are next too useless. I have put quite a few men onto it as it seems to stops athletes foot (Tinea) due to it having anti bacterial and anti fungal properties. I also use it as my "wetting agent" when I am landscaping.., I was put onto this over 40 years ago when a wine farmer use to buy the Amway Dish drops to help his fungice spray (as a wetting agent) on his vineyard plants. Both have no salts and does not effect sensitive native plants. Don't believe me.., try this on dry soil..., dig two holes about the same size, large enough to take a bucket of water. Fill two buckets but add a couple of teaspoon fulls to one and give it a mix, pour them both in their separate holes at the same time.., you will be very surprised how quick the dishwashing bucket full disappears..., even better if the soil is hydrophobic. Next, make two shallow holes about 500mm round and 100mm deep, do the above experiment again..., wait 15 minutes and then see how far the water has penetrated the ground..., again you will be amazed). It also seems to last for a few weeks in the soil (rejuvenating when it gets wet) giving the hydrophobic soil a chance to recover and I have NEVER had a plant effected buy it. (certainly none thas has shown and I was a professional landscaper for over 10 years). I looove the stuff. ha
Heads up: no need to use anything for athletes foot:. ...just pee on your feet in the shower and soak for a minute or two. Uric acid kills athletes foot and urine is sterile...so no harm done. In a few days, your athletes foot will be gone.
@ImNotMad ButUR Your statement is partially incorrect, sir. Urine is sterile and can even be used to clean out a wound, or drank in a dehydration situation. Although Urine filters toxins, as you stated, urine also contains uric acid and anti fungal agents which is why our USA military tells us to pee in the shower if we have an athletes foot fungal infection, or soak our feet in our own urine. The University of Arizona proved that urine cures athletes foot when soaked in it. I am also a medic who learned very well to use what is available in a situation where drugs are not available, and in homeopathic medicine. With 20 others using the same shower regularly in record time, everyone is directed to pee on our feet if we can before exiting the shower. Germicides and Bactericides are not readily available. That is why no one in our group has ever acquired athletes foot. It is definitely not an old wives tale. If you tell that to the University of Arizona, you will be their poster child for ignorance and failing to research before speaking.
If you put white corn syrup just a little bit maybe a teaspoon in your bubbles along with the soap in the water they will blow super pretty and extend the life of your bubbles too!
Mom: what the heck are you doing with my dish detergent! Me: I'm bottling it into a bunch of smaller bottles and selling them for twice the price as a magic goo that fixes everything ! I'm gonna call it "This changes everything!"
You shouldn’t be so freely putting your ideas on the Internet, there are a lot of thieves out there that will take your invention and make millions of dollars off of it, I’m not one of them because financially I can’t afford to buy the advertising and the equipment it would take to do it.
I liked and enjoyed this video. It would have been nice to know the amounts of dish detergent needed to be used in these instances. But, hey, that's something for another video! 🤣 Keep up the good work! 👏👏👏🙏
Silver foil in bowl, hot water, bicarbonate of soda, white vinegar put silver jewellery in bowl leave for while then they come out cleaned of all tarnish, better than the products on market it really works
Lil dawn in a quart water spray bottle kills mosquitos on contact, flies take a bit to die but they WILL die. Wasps & hornets also die quickly. Use a pump up garden sprayer to shoot the dawn mix on the nest & it dissolves the nest too. Great for thoes high nests up in roof top eaves. About a teaspoon per quart. When camping & getting bug mugged especially around the food table a fine mist shot into the air takes out all the nasties that come to join in. Hornets in particular hate being dawn misted. They fly off, land & lick themselves & drop dead. Kills just about any bug it comes in contact with.
I mix the original blue dawn with water and spray wasp nests at night when all of them are on the nest. I kill the entire nest and prevent being hit by one of them. Also, I apply it to ant beds in the yard. First spray around the mound to keep any from escaping and then saturate the whole mound. Very cheap to use.
buyerbware25 , Not an insectacide bud. Powerful grease cutter that dissolves the lining between the bugs plates very quickly. When they eat/drink it, it dissoves their guts.
I've heard of Using Dawn dish soap to wash your pet I've done that before when my cat had fleas. And they smelled really good afterwards. That's why they use it on ducts to get the oil off of them. The other thing you can use Dawn dish soap for maybe a couple of times a month is to actually wash your hair with it. Because the dish soap will get rid of all the Laird soap scum and everything that builds up on your hair. Of course you're going to want to use a really good conditioner afterwards and especially if you have long hair like me, when you wash your hair with Dawn dish soap and a really good conditioner your hair will feels so light and silky it'll become a regular thing. This had some good ideas.
Instead of dish soap on the dog use Suave or VO5 shampoo on the dog. Been using for 40+ years. No scratching, no dryness and no stink dogs. Every time I use a "dog shampoo" my dogs are miserable. Better yet, take the dog in the shower with you. Shampoo him, wash you and make him wait while you scrub yourself. Good training!
You have to be careful with your gemstones. A lot of them are enhanced these days. You don't need to soak your jewelry for 5 minutes unless your a car mechanic.
for car windscreens i use anti fog or the heater on the windscreen and that clears it up 100% all the time because it is hard not to breath while your driving in the cold weather where cold air meets warm air as for the dish washing detergent it only helps to keep it clean i used it in the washer bottle
best thing is to use baking soda toothpaste and then soak it in lemon juice before scrubbing clean with a toothbrush. the baking soda will fill any gaps or scratches and when it comes in contact with the lemon juice it dissolves stains and tarnish that many fine metals get from long contact with body oils while it makes any gemstones sparkle like new.
blowing boubles thos were the days. i rember when me and my friends ran out of them. my perents use the dish detergents and refilled our bottle and the fun gos on.
My mates terrier got dandruff and eczema because he washed her with dish soap vet said it strips the oil from the skin and also recommended washing the dog only twice a year.
And use a hair conditioner after rinsing off all soap & rub thoroughly through your pets hair down to its skin. Then let it sit about 5 minutes, rinse & dry first w/towel then hair dryer on warm low, moving it around quickly so as not to burn them & don't blow it in their face, just use towel there. No dry skin & soft silky hair without the fleas. Been doing this all my life on all my dogs & cats; they love it!
I have thinning oily hair and I use dawn once a week to wash my hair. My hair stay clean for a week, looks thicker and stays clean and not oily for about 4-5 days. Hadn’t caused any dryness or caused my head to itch. I swear by it!
I only use about a quarter size amount.... I stopped using shampoo, I did try shampoo again after using the Dawn. But my hair got oily again within 2 days... my hair looks great, no damage that I or my husband can see.
Huh I have the exact same problem I'm gonna have to try this!!!!!!! I wash my hair even with more expensive shampoos and conditioners and nothing helps my hair looks greasy by the end of the day
Any Auto Mechanic will tell you they use “Dawn” Dish Soap to clean any engine or transmission of old oil when rebuilding them in any Auto Shop! Only Dawn, nothing works better and most leave residue.
@@M_Ladd yeah, no. That's my husband and I don't mind taking care of him. By the time he gets home from busting his knuckles all day to support our kids and our family, the least I can do for him is clean the tub for him and wash his dirty clothes... Thanks for the crap ass advice though. The way you think is the reason why marriages fail.
I'm just adding a comment because I like to see my comments posted everywhere. Dish soap does change everything. Pour a few drops in your lawnmower's gas tank and watch the bubbles come out the exhaust. You will have your own bubble making machine.
Dawn dish liquid is the most amazing and great degreaser! On the clogged toilet thing..I have actually just dumped a bucket of warm to hot water really fast into a toilet, and unclogged a toilet without the dish liquid! But I would be willing to give it a shot!
