If you want to stay healthy mentally, get good sleep most days, don't drink alcohol much, eat fish regularly or if vegan eat walnuts chia seeds or vegan dha epa aglae supplements for omega 3 and use canola expeller pressed oil for cooking. It seems some mental illness is related to inflammation caused by lack of omega which has been decreased by moderate food production techniques.
