Nice to see industry veterans give Ian Thornley the respect he absolutely deserves! You won’t find a better triple threat - the guy’s a virtuoso on guitar, has the vocal ability of Chris Cornell, and is an amazing, prolific songwriter!

I have to agree. When I dug deep on Ian Thornley, I was blown away by his guitar playing, because I had already been blown away by his melodies, voice and his presence. He is soooo underrated. he is such a talent...very proud of him!!! 🥰😍🤩 p.s. Andy we adored the "crop top"!!!!

Kim’s string of albums in the 80s is a compelling demonstration of his musical talent. His hits cover a gamut of musical styles from ballads, to hard rock standards, to quirky pop tunes like Easy To Tame to one of the loveliest most sentimental songs in Patio Lanterns. Truly a Canadian legend.

Kin Mitchell likes Alan Holdwiorth. So did the late Eddie van Halen, RIP. Good 👍 choice. KM had guest solos in Tom Cochrane records. KM, Aldo Nova go on my Great Canadian Guitarists list along with Alex Lifeson.

Ian Thornley got a music degree from Berklee, thats what probably made Andy feel like he was more talented than Kim Mitchell or the guys from Rush who are essentialy self taught.
