Hey John, WOW, It's been SOOOOOOOOOOOOO long since I've seen Sass. I think the last time I saw her was back home in Halifax when I was Housetech at the Misty Moon on Barrington Street in Halifax, the last incarnation of the Moon. I don't remember what year it was, but it had to be before September 1992 because that;s when I spread my wings and began my own life trip and moved out of home and went on my own to Vancouver. Anyhow, thats off topic. It's awesome to see Sass. Sass, You look incredible, and your voice, damn, still that same energy that I remember you onstage at the Moon. Incredibly happy to see that you have a new album, haha, that doesn't give me away as old school at all, Hahahahahahaha. Whatever form it is in, a collection of songs, recorded for the public to own, is an album. The 'Kids' today, releasing 1 song at a time just makes me think, "Yeah, call me when you have a full length album" Can't wait to hear your incredible voice with new songs from long ago. Especially with Taylor. I greatly remember Taylor, and yeah, a TOTAL BALL OF FOCUSED LIGHTNING WITH PURPOSE. I was lucky to have met him before he worked with Alanis and yourself, a total natural. His sticks were an appendage of his arms that were connected directly to his heart. As Rai of Trooper once coined "He's a boy with a beat", Taylor was that and so much more. R.I.P. Taylor, You are greatly missed. Thank You Sass for releasing that Gem of you and Taylor. Perfect timing. Have you heard Taylor's son play? He has the same heart. Matt - Toronto
Saw her open for Steve Perry in 94. Taylor was the drummer. He hit so hard, he was overpowering the rest the group. It was drum clinic. Lol I loved it though, I'm a drummer. 😂 Rats is a smoking album! It's a heavy album. Sass is still kicking ass in 2024!
