I’ll be the first to admit I haven’t commented that much this season, but these recent episodes have just been spectacular! Agrios is a masterclass in card design. I am a sucker for thematic decks, the story behind them is quite honestly the most important thing to me. However in the case of Agrios, not only was the theming immaculate but the card design itself only stood to gain from such a solid foundation. I really hope to see the creator in the comment section down here so I can pay my compliments to the chef because this guy COOKED!

Putting in Agrios was worth it just to make you say Doombeef to the point of ad nauseam. Personally I give the deck a 7/10. Welcome to Agrios, which doubled as writing practice for my take on curses in my fantasy setting. The design music I went for with it, was the full version of Yu-gi-oh Zexal's first ending theme. Also Agrios grew to hate steamed food as got older, hence why there are no "Steam" units in this deck The crest (Gotta thank my lovely Lyrical Mosquito Sacuba for this) Yeah you nailed it with my comment regarding curses and medical diseases (among others things). Its as far removed from your control as possible, while applying "negatives" that I can apply design around. If I tied it strictly to Agrios or you the player, the A.T. form or Blangdmire (which was a happy accident) could have jeopardized the overall feel of the deck. I still need to change some things with the crests activation though, as currently there's a genuine argument to stay on the grade 2 as long as possible to avoid the full malus among other things. Grade 2 Agrios: Made its soul blast an AUTO because I stared at a wall of [ACT] abilities for Agrios for way too long and needed a change. May have been better to push it as an [ACT] for early game plays and internal balance but I like it better as an AUTO for working with the name better but I'll probably switch it before the weeks out. Grade 3 Agrios: Something I realized with the Divine Skill is the three or more did not specify from hand or elsewhere. So its a touch stronger than I intended. Might change that or keep it as is, to keep with being rewarded with your Perseverance. Been debating upping the Hunger requirement to 10 or 12 as I made more cards that increase it, but I'm still testing that. Doombeef Zalsberry, which I considered the RRR support card for the deck, just due to the applications and interactions it has, like with Stelana for example. One thing I realized while testing, this guy only checks how many of him you soul blasted this turn, not that they were different cards, so you could if you combine both soul blasts on Agrios, could get 5 of them soul blasted which I count more as more as an odd quirk than necessarily bad design. Stelana: Worded as it is, so it didn't create a 4-5 attack turn while on grade 2. Debating putting it into soul at the end of the effect so you can't choose itself for the effect. The other grade 1's: The ones I really wanted a critique on, even if they've changed since then, just cause the looping you can do with them have caused me a few headaches. Chotle: Changed the cost slightly, to have to put grade 2 or greater for the cost to prevent some looping and axed the draw. Though with your suggestion I might implement that instead for the choice of benefit. Fervent Killswine: Is also a card but requires other cards to explain it. Its kind of funky in my opinion. Kuroia: Loved the flavor of her accidentally getting eaten and phasing out of Agrios to chide him on it. First ability worded as such so I could experiment with an expanded Maple effect and justify running multiple but finding a balance for it has been tricky. Second ability current version retires herself at the end of the battle, to let other cards lift their weight. Though was debating at one point for Drive+1 as the benefit instead. Also kicking myself that I was inconsistent with my numbering on her hunger requirements. Now on to the twins, which I have fun designing, but well they might be a bit of a whiplash. And ranked #6 on my dubious design gimmicks. Now I gotta go make some Cinnamon Buns for my brothers birthday.

@@godsman00 Maybe, but as long as Agrios is one my decks (which I have many of) Its something I have to hold myself to, else it stagnates.

Ok Agrios is actually a very well designed concept, but I think the only thing I find a problem with it is the consistency of the soul. Put he generics aside, the support doesn't have that much soul buildup they can do. So I just don't know how consistent it can keep up with the hunger as the game drags on. G4 Reverses were actually cool, I would've love to see more of them. Especially some of the ones that were underpower like Amon and Cocytus, or even Venus Flytrap. Series is actually having more episodes than last season and as it's getting closer, more people are adding new cards keeping mine farther as well. This season really has been getting alot of Ws, and I'm eager on what your opinion on my customs are gonna be. I'll admit they actually might end up being either broken or a bit lackluster, but I balanced them as best as I could

Agreed, soul could ironically be an issue despite being a DS deck but hey the generics could clean that up I'd imagine lol 😂 Oh definitely, Amon in particular could use something that's more interesting cuz power aside the card has always felt pretty bland imo. We'll see, this season has blown the previous ones out of the water for sure but you could be another highlight 💪. Now I just gotta remember to return to yours in the RU-vid section, after all these videos I'm gonna admit I kinda forgot so thanks for the reminder m8 😂

Agrios creator here. I did not include it, but there are ways to buildup soul in this deck like Killswine and an Order among other things, along with generic options within Dark States. But it is certainly one of the decks weaknesses long term. For this critiquing though, the cards I included were the ones I felt in most need of feedback on. Now the twins on the other hand... oh boy.

Hey! The cards I inserted managed to break the thumbnail, haven’t watched the video yet (of course) but it’s cool to see how themes of other customs seem to connect (Seems like someone is a fan of the Reverse as well)

The skill to clone 5 copies of himself, when your Hyakki battles a unit, it battles two unit instead of one, cloned Hyakki gain 5000K (in order for us not to go back to the V luard power creep era) added on potential crit and restand (nue diao is that you?)

1:22:40 I mean, Chaos Breaker is insanley CB intensive. Lets say on your Grade 3 turn you want to ride into Braker and use Mobius, you are looking at a potential CB4, so even without Mobius its probably a once per game manuever without insane countercharge.

1)Loved the vid, I actually loved the ideas of Яeversed G units, never thought of that myself. For the Link Joker units, loved them too. 2)Planck Dracokid's idea was based on the originator of Quantum Physics, scientist Nobel Prize winner Max Planck. Dracokid was originally released from the G set; Rondeau of Chaos & Salvation. Although the Power was 4000 instead of 6, his effects were the following: [AUTO]:Forerunner [ACT](RC):[Counter Blast (1) & Retire this unit] Look at seven cards from the top of your deck, reveal up to one card with "Chaos" in its card name, put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck. If your opponent has a locked card, he or she chooses one of his or her rear-guards, and locks it.

Yoooo i finally got reviewed thanks for the comments i will make the corrections when i get some time it was my first customs so I will take 6.5/10, Chaos breaker is my favorite vg thing ever. I gave the hand rip btw as a reference to his G forms and zero dragon like you said as i have been playing vanguard prog. I definitely will make it better i have been using untap bit is there sny other sims i can make customs on and servers i can find people to play test it with

So maybe for Twilight Baron I could make it so when it attacks the opponent could lock one of there rear guards or Baron gets crit +1 old Baron didn't do much besides getting power. Maybe if I could give the choice to give Baron a guard restrict for g1 or highers if they don't lock one of there units instead just ideas

Also I'm glad you like the flavor text. I tried to use old flavor text but reword them to be newer and CBD was something I wanted to be his personality in his text. If we get a new big custom post I might do a stride decks version of harmonics messiah(just messiah if I would make it with no stride decks) also maybe even Zeal as his one of my favorite units

Happy to help! I'd say Untap is the best bet overall ngl to continue testing customs. Baron offering a choice for crit is cool, seems like a start. Guard restrict is also possible though tbh it's kinda dangerous in combination with Eldobreath lol
