I thought this was some of the worst punditry I have ever seen in my life. Showing up for show when a home nation was playing a top ten team, and they win in magnificent circumstances, and saying you didn’t watch, wouldn’t watch, it’s dull and drab, and you wouldn’t bother with Scottish football. Really really poor. I see pundits commentate on teams that have been their rivals, and there may be a joke, but there is always respect and professionalism. None of that was showing her. Dismissive, disrespectful, arrogant, and they should be nowhere near any discussion on Scottish results again.

For such a small country in geographical terms Scotland turns up at these major tournaments more often than not and is a credit to their grit and determination. Danny Murphy lacked class at Blackburn where he stole a living. We were 3-0 down at home to Peterborough and he got hauled off at half-time. The grass WAS too long. The ball was not running as it usually does, cutting back on the pace of the game. That said, no rules were broken, and it's part of the game. The Scots took every advantage they could, and Spain would be no different.

@@ChrisSmith-mk3wo Sorry, but you're missing the strategic element. Yes, they have to play on the same pitch - but they don't play the same style of football. Spain are a quick pass and move team, Scotland is not. By having the grass long you are helping to nullify Spain. This is nothing new. Do you remember the time when Chelsea were playing Barca, when Jose was Chelsea manager? In the leg played at Stamford Bridge the club let the grass die, and it was very bumpy. Why? Because it hurt Barca's ability to play the ball quickly, and dribble the ball. This is a tactic that is not unique to the Scotland game. As I say, I don't blame Scotland at all, it's part of the game.

Rodri has a cheek to say anything he comes from a country notorious for cheating, their players were dropping like flies at the slightest contact, they can’t handle the physicality clearly, and tbh even their clubs cheat, Barcelona being investigated for match fixing n all sorts, dry your eyes you were beaten by the better team, all Spain did was knock a ball about for 90 minutes and create absolutely nothing, boring football, Scotland outclassed them
