I’m so glad you’re FINALLY doing Set It Off. I’ve been seeing them in the suggestions for FOREVER!!! He’s very versatile with his sound. He’s got very “pop” like songs and he’s got more rock songs. Also! The vocalist is called Cody. His voice has that raspyness that makes him sound so angry when he tries to sound pissed off! He has a lot of range and emotion.

Set if off is a punk-rock band that has been around for quite a while actually! However their style has changed a lot with the years. Punching bag is the song which with they came back to their original sound, but they have many styles across their albums! I recommend a song of each era, so imma go with the following: Kill The Lights Wolf in Sheep's Clothing Hypnotized Midnight Thoughts Skeleton I hope you like the band!

Set it Off is fantastic. They have a lot of different styles but this one is definetly their strongest one! I would recommend listening to Wolf in Sheeps Clothing, Why Worry, Kill The Lights, and Killer in the Mirror to start off!

The first time I ever heard set it off was live and they opened for falling in reverse and black veil brides. I immediately liked them after hearing insomniac which I related to. Cody walked across the crowd on our hands. Im glad it was my first experience with them. The only merch I bought there was set it offs cd bought in the crowd from their guitarist. I then fell into the rabbit hole and 8 years later I’m here and still love their music! Now let me just go make 500 RU-vid accounts real quick to hit that goal 😂

Killer In The Mirror and Wolf In Sheep's Clothing are great tracks by them. Wolf is the song that introduced me to them. It has a great sound and the lyrics are great with all the play on fairy tales.

found your channel because of the sleep token reaction videos, definitely staying for set it off! also, the vocalist of the band is cody! the whole band in general changed their style a lot across the albums but i highly recommend checking out the acoustic versions of some of the songs, i feel like they really show just how talented they are.

As someone who is better a fan of set it off for years now there has always been and will be something that makes them gold and how they make their music. I highly recommend if you keep listening to them their newest song “fake ass friends” “ killer in the mirror” “ wolf in sheep’s clothing” And my favorite, at least one of many “ hypnotized” I highly recommend diving you into them as they have been beaten down by studio producers, and now are working independently without labels and have now made it to radio and top hits for rock, which is a new all-time record for them. Set it off knows what it’s like to struggle and to be normal and has a deep connection with their fans.

Set if Off are so underrated!!! The band has a close sound and vibe to like early My Chemical Romance and Panic! At The Disco but essentially The band is comprised of friends who basically grew up as outcasts and kids who generally were picked on heavily in school and as adults are channeling that into some amazing music that like you said is the Angst you didn't know you needed. I would definitely recommend I'll Sleep When I'm Dead and Why Worry.

YEAAAAH SET IT OFF Legit been one of my favorite bands for as long as I've enjoyed music! Very complex history on these guys in terms of sound. Punching Bag is the first single they released going very abruptly into this very polished heavy sound that they've kept up with since (so if you want more of this, take a look at Evil People, Win Win, Parasite, and/or Fake Ass Friends) Before Punching Bag though, they made a lot of music that tows the line between alt rock/pop rock. Their last three or four albums are where you'll find that sound. 'Elsewhere' has a very eccentric take on it, 'Midnight' is darker and more grounded with a bit of angst, while 'Upside Down' and 'Duality' will be along the lines of what you probably think of when you read those genre terms above, with the former being brighter/poppier and the latter being a bit angrier and more rock-oriented with a basis in a lot of the theatrics from its preceding record, 'Cinematics' Speaking of which, that album and the EP that came before it, 'Horrible Kids,' is where all the heavy theatrical post-hardcore-y angst lives! Very good stuff that doesnt really sound like anything else you'd hear, but I'd say thats true across the board for this band :) In terms of reactions and getting interaction on YT, keep going with their new stuff at first! But I'd love to see reactions to older stuff too, I've been waiting so long for reactors to pick these guys up LOL
