He Spent $25,000 to Upgrade All Cards to Level 15 

Already running into lvl 15 decks everywhere, this game is cooked. I stuck around despite everything up until this point, as I watched all my friends quit with each nerf to progression. Level 14 should've been my final straw, but I stuck around and got 90% of the games cards max, finally getting to be on an even playing field no matter what deck I ran, finally getting to climb as high as I want on ladder, only to be smacked in the face with this update. This really might be the end of CR for me

This player was so excited to level up their cards, they spent all their money on getting to level 15! This clearly shows that there is a high demand from our players to add new levels into the game.

It's possible that they spent the ~25k just to prove a point being that it costs around 25-26k to max an account and then to refund later but still having proof of how disgusting of a cash grab this is. I don't think calling them or anyone stupid in any way is at all necessary. As they said themselves, don't jump to conclusions.

I was a player since the release dates but deleted the game on the update for trash players and haven’t look back ever since. You still make great content boss, keep it up bro

The problem now is that now that they have released the update, they can't reverse it cause the players who did upgrade to lv 15 get scammed. And even if they reduce the number of Elite wild cards required it would be unfair to those that have already upgraded 2-3 cardsto lv15

I literally finished maxxing my FIRST deck to lvl 14 like 3 days before the update, booting up the game and running against lvl15s using the boost on barbs firecracker and RG reminded me how unfunny cr is when under leveled, if officially done with the game

How on earth did he won the chargeback claim after intentionally spending $25K? Felt like he knows someone from the bank and that filing a reversal was easy peasy. That is a risky move just to troll SC (they deserve it though).

From how they say that a casual player needs 6 months to get 8+ cards to elite level, inbetween those months, maybe balance changes killed one of the cards and all your effort spending resources upgrading a nerfed card is a waste of time. Also this is another problem with lack of deck flexibility because underleveled cards gives you a disadvantage. I don't even understand what they're trying to achieve and expecting us to play everyday turn on clash royale and spend maybe average of 3 matches to fill your chests slots and repeat...

I don't get this argument from supercell that "slowly" or "eventually" people would get to level 15, that's wishful thinking on a whole another level.People will spend so much money to get unfair advantages (like you said) and that lead to the problem for you average player , who obviously can't and thus the game is ruined for a whole lot of people.

This update maybe the final straw for me. I'm level 53, with 769,000 exp, at 7600ish throphies, and im going against nothing but, lvl 15s with fully maxed(lvl 15 decks with evolved cards) when I dont have a singular card at 15, evolved card, or king tower at 15. I saved up 1.7 mil of gold at the first hint of lvl 15. Its a joke. Sc, alienated their true player base of supporters for causals, which they expected to come back to the game. I bought every season pass until they raised the price and slash the rewards since it was worth it but, not anymore. I had about 75 cards that were max before slash, I have around 95 after slash.

Pretty sure the legal way to get a refund is if you do the transactions from a different apple id and then to call apple and report the account or payment method as compromised and they can refund you since you can say it was an unknown apple id to you using your credit card

Boss, i saw something very interesting, i think as a content creator you must have known but i am just raising your attention. In shop buying a max legendary card for 40000 gives you 200 elite wild cards but buying rare card for 4000 coins gives you 400 elite wild cards and in case of commons its double the value of rares.

I know of so many people that are quiting the game because of this. Like my dad who has been playing this game since 2016 has quit the game because of it. and my brother who was top 2000 in the world after grinding for a very long time also quit the game.

And this is why supercell will never change

I work in a data company "data driven" let's say. This is what all companies should do, but there is a catch, you can easily trick and bias your analysis depending on the focus you are having. (if you do an analysis to see if people want more levels, and that is beneficial for you as a company, you will find those reasons and end up with a biased analysis). If you analyse more things as a whole with no particular drive in mind, you will see the real results. Also its VERY IMPORTANT to know your businessa and what I find lacking is the arguments on SC side, you cannot say okay people got excited by level 14 and came back to upgrade their deck and that 6 months later they started slowly quitting. they say it's because thats how long they took for those people to upgrade to 14, so lets add 15. They came back for champions as well, and its normal that the novelty went down, not because of upgrading to max their main decks. if so, in 6 months that they said is what they would took a very active player to max one deck, we would be in the same situation

The problem isn't that some people will pay to get maxed. The problem is that they took away our max accounts and are asking 25k$ to get each back (or like 10 years of f2p grinding).

Level 15 champions against a level 13 and 14 deck is not fair in the slightest. The queen can single handedly take out moderate tank troops with her one elixir ability (princes, mini peka, bowler, etc… even takes out a good 4/5 of a the giants’ health.)

Just deleted the game yesterday after going 5/15. Out of the 15 matches 11 were level 15. 6 had max elite cards. I’m done giving my money to supercell

The only good thing about this update is that casual gives chests again and even though card evolutions seemed interesting, I didn't expect them to be completely broken and make the meta revolve around them
