Yeah, the backlash of community service isn't that bad given the possible consequences. Good on the girl for defending him letting everyone know he protected her by warning about the party
Unfortunately I agree with OP and his plan knowing USA law if he would report to the police it would be ,,THE CRAIM WASN'T COMMITTED IS NOTHING WE CAN DO,, and creeps would get only slap in the wrist. We'll done young man.
Not when OP had the recordings as evidence. Those recordings would have been absolutely *damning* in court, there would have been no defense believable enough to counter the trio's own words being used against them. Trust me, anyone who heard those recordings in court would have abandoned any sympathy for the trio that they might previously have had for them being "minors". But, yes, OP should have gone straight to his dad and to the police so that they could handle it (this was a matter best handled by adults, not an admittedly well-intentioned teenager), and the only other thing that he should have done (and something that he already *did* do) was to warn that girl to stay away from that party so that she would be safe. He should have never taken matters into his own hands. Not going to his dad and the police was his biggest mistake. Had he gone to his dad and to the police, he would not have gotten into any trouble, the girl would have been kept as safe as possible, and the trio would have still faced the consequences for their actions.
He really should have handled it differently. I have no problem with him seeking justice outside of the law, but he committed at least three different serious felonies (minimum) by slipping those pills into the drinks and giving them to those guys. He could have gone to jail for literally years. Putting foreign substances into food or drink is a really serious crime.
@@gamester512 the police only act when a crime is in progress or when a crime has been committed. They don't act if someone hasn't done anything yet, even with intent. The reason F1 was arrested was because he was at the party, in a sense 'hunting his prey' and that counts as a crime in progress. Otherwise it could just be considered bragging, after F1 is in front of his friends so they would just say he's trying to impress 2 and 3.
@@gamester512 unfortunately, it depends on the state. In some states, both parties must be aware if a conversation is being taped. His recording would only be permissable in a one party state.
@@HaleyJo1992 Honeslty let’s just say things would get bloody if any of the account holders were the OP and would have given the warning and snuck a knife in to crave what they wrote on their heads and not a permanent marker. One of the account holders would have made it bloody and scar their foreheads, plead guilty to every crime they did(Theft of the pills and illicit substance use to knock them out and assault for carving a scar into them with a knife.) and play the recordings to show the motivation for the actions taken. No body count but more nuclear than the OP took it.
First of all, I LOVE the kitty footage. Second, this story sickens me. I had a similar occurrence happen at a Grateful Dead concert. Some poor girl was blitzed out of her mind on some hallucinogenic or another and was wandering around the parking lot after the show (nah, not somebody spaced out at a Dead concert?! LOL). My friends and I were just kind of watching her meandering about babbling, "You guys, where are you." Clearly she'd become separated from the group she was with, so she was lost in more ways than one. All of a sudden, some guy comes up and just grabs her by the elbow and steers to a van a couple vehicles down from us. At first, we just thought he might have been one of her friends. Then we hear her protests. Dude was trying to have his way with her in his van! Well, after hearing the girl saying no, two of my buddies and me went over and dragged dude out of his van and explained to him how he was NOT going to have his way with this incoherent girl. Luckily her friends showed up shortly after we rescued her. We explained what had happened, and they were very thankful we had intervened on the young lady's behalf.
WoW.... This was a serious one! I'm surprised that as a teen, the OP was able to come up w/this step by step plan. Even tho it might not have been the Best option, thinking about it, you can't always just go to mom &dad &expect things to get resolved. Especially not w/No1 getting hurt 1st! The OP was correct in getting the recorded TRUTH of the whole situation, for the fact that w/out that, it'd just be his word against ALL OF THEIRS. That probably wouldn't have worked out. For Him OR the girl. So, he was prob right not to just "Go to dad". I dunno . 🤷🏾♀️ Teen boys are dumb, so even the warning wouldn't deter "F1". It's a Shame OP had to lose all of his main friends all at once, but at times like this, you have to drop the dead weight to live YOUR life better.✌🏾️👌🏾
He sacrificed their friendship but actually uplifted them, save for the "leader". I agree with what you're saying, though. Trying to de-escalate the situation in this case probably wouldn't work on the long term. Given the context OP provided we're talking about kids that need professional help, not kids who pull a dumb prank once or twice a year.
It’s great that he saved her…this is what having good parents is like they actually gave enough of a damn to want to straighten their kid out…more than I can say for his friend’s parents…would’ve been nice if at the end he actually ended up dating maybe marrying said girl lol but ig life ain’t a fairytale like that
Nah, I think the emotional trauma and op's own self doubt about wether or not he could be doing exactly what they were planning in other circumstances, probably would be too much for the two to handle. The girl would be forever remembering that she could be a **pe victim with a lot of traumas and Op would be thinking if another timeline he could be among the ones who hurted her. Sometimes life is like that, you do what is right even if you aren't getting Notting but some traumas back, what is important is to do the right thing :D
Man, I completely relate to how your friends can seem different once you're away for a while. I had a similar situation with friends, though very different circumstances. In my teen years I used to run around with this group of guys. We'd known of each other for a good decade, but I didn't really join the group until about 3 years prior to this. We used to get into all kinds of crazy shit, from breaking into cars, to random fights, etc. Well one day, a massive hurricane hits the place we live, and I end up having to move to a new state. I fought my mom on this move, and even ran away for like two months before I was found and forced to go (we were in high school at the time, but since the entire city had been destroyed, schools were closed). Of course I'd still been hanging around the squad, but when It came time to move, I actually got in a fight with one of the dudes the day before I left (it was a fight over him thinking I was sexting his gf, but turns out it was another guy in the group who had used my phone the previous night, pretending to be me. I didn't even know this dude had a gf, much less have communication with her). Anyways, I move away, and I basically cut contact with the whole group (6 including me). Two months later, I'm watching a national news channel and my whole friend group is on the news, facing hate crimes and attempted murder. They were yelling slurs at a people in a gay bar, and throwing rocks at people. Some of the rocks hit people in the head, and iirc one or two women ended up comatose because of the damage they caused. Last I knew, they were sentenced to between 6-14 years. Before their trial, I'd heard rumors that they began snitching on each other about other crimes and stuff they'd done, to lessen their own sentences. I'm actually pretty damn glad my mom forced me to move, because I just know I would've been right with them when that situation went down (not yelling slurs or throwing rocks or anything. That's well beyond what I would consider okay, but back then i was more of a follower)
I’m glad that the school op went to in the beginning actually helped and not abuse him. So many schools under similar names are closed for abuse and famously hiding child deaths. (One school in particular)
Seriously, recording them and letting them go to the party with the drugs was the right call. NOT STUPID. Not for actually getting something done. Drugging them was dumb. But having the recordings and them actually showing up and having intent is what had them actually get in trouble and not just get mad, and then want to target that anger onto another victim. Predators who aren't made to pay for their crimes just get mad and target that anger onto another victim, who often gets it worse, or more than one victim pays. OP would have saved one girl going to the cops. OP saved every girl they would have victimized doing it his way. That's a damn hero.
I just got lost for most of the vid staring at the cats in the background that I had to restart the video to listen to what happened. Pretty bad situation. The courage in that dude was so emmense that I'm surprised he can even carry the weight of his dumptruck sized balls
Yeah, I can't actually watch these videos as they play, because I get distracted by cats, or footage of pro skater video games, or Darth Maul shredding things. Then I realize I have completely lost the plot of these long-ass Reddit posts, and have to go back to the beginning.
I dunno why but him taking a picture of his three friends with the word Therapist without the 'the' and uploading it on facebook was kinda needed, since even if they were arrested and get consequences, it wouldn't be to far fetch if the police didn't say anything and the whole neighborhood would make up stories or speculate what actually happened and even if some knew there would still be doubts, at least the people know what their crimes are and can be safe if ever they decided to do it again, you know, to safe warry of them
@@Rennies-World Amen. Also it's why if they get off their credibility in society is ruined. People know you as a sexual predator, you should hide on an isolated island. Only thing worse is children, I ain't saying that terrible word but they deserve the worst punishments in existence.
@@Rennies-World cops are to redtaped to do anything thats the problem the sexual assault laws can only get from Innocent till proven guilty TO Guilty till proven Innocent. not good when that happens.
No, you have to understand that precedents cannot be set, in situations like these the charges aren't given with any satisfaction, but the rule of law must be kept without exception.
It's the law, It may seem unfair but he indeed did commit crimes, he was lucky enough to only get community service as drugging someone may have put him in jail regardless of intention.
@@carlangelo653 but for marker, though??? 😅 Would it have been better according to the law if he had used eyeliner?? I just don't understand how that's "battery" and not some other noun
@@BlaecOleander Yeah people misunderstand battery as violence, but it can be any type of unwanted physical contact. So long as the contact was deemed offensive. While it may seem like too much I think the drugging part didn't help him, because it meant he had full intent on doing what he did.
I'd say more good came from what he did than from him telling anybody. Sure something would have happened, but three white male college football scholarships, it would have been slaps on the wrist if that and they wouldn't have been stopped or learned anything.
What he did seriously amped the chances of them being considered victims since they didn't actually commit any crime (minus getting the pills)while OP did, plus the risk of them actually deciding to do it anyway on some other girl (although he said he kept his eye on them so i assume he would try and stop them although this could just end up in another fight and it would be 3 on 1. He should have told the girl, record one or two conversations about it then go to his parents or the police (in that order) but i guess you can't expect perfection from a 17year old
@@scintilanti As if the police could have done anything based off of a report. Even if the cops crashed the party they would have just hid/flushed the pills once someone yelled COPS! And they would have gotten slaps on the wrist.
i dont think the police would have done anything if he didnt do all of that. he would have no evidence and it would be his word against 2-3 other dudes. i think he could have just taken the videos he got to the police as soon as he did and tell the girl as well. everything else wasnt necessary but let alone its a good story with a good end !
In germany F1 wouldn't get any prison time at all. Probably even if he managed to do things to that girl, he wouldn't get much prison time. 1 to 2 years maybe. But good lord if you do taxfraud, they are ready to put you right into prison IMMEDIATELY. I hate the rules here. Anyway I am quite satisfied with the outcome of this particular case though. Very good on the OP!
This story hits home for me. I had to do an "audit" on my circle of friends and realized my bestfriend wasn't really a best friend. And had to end the friendship through nuclear revenge.
i like the story but at the same time i really liked looking at the cute kittens, but uh, props to op for doing the right thing, also to op's parents that they put him in that school!
It is a movie it' s called ; I spit on your Grave 1, 2 & 3 , no actually these movies are good but there are disturbin scenes , the rapes already happened but there' s great revenge scenes.
I would love to buy this man a drink and share similar stories. I too thought I knew my Highschool friends, till I had my first drink with them. In my anti-social nerd way of minding myself.. I heard one of the guys whispering to another with glances and points, to some gals who were asleep on a bed, about how they wanted to mess with them. And I immediately stood up, walked over to them and said outloud "These gals are under my protection, dont you fucking dare!" as the entire room stares at me, glaring at the individuals. I guess in frustration, they suggested to the room of drunk dudes to "Hey lets all go outside and fight each other!" And they all did! Jocks, I swear.. they're a holler to party with but they always bring them dark thoughts. Pretty sure that one action made them all respectable kids. They've all got happy lives, wives and strives! :) (I kept up with them until I dropped outta social media.)
While technically wrong OP did do the right thing in terms of making sure the girl was safe and his former friends were punished. This country is _appalling_ when it comes to laws involving SA, R*pe and pursuing justice for those actions. If adults were told from the start F1, 2 and 3 probably just would have gotten a slap on the wrist and would have tried again with someone else, this way there was no defense and the lesson stuck.
I think if they tried to get another girl then they would have gotten their heads caved in, because all OP had to do was yell "HE SPIKED HER DRINK" and EVERY guy would have started to kick the crap out of them.
....this is...well this make me cry lets just put it like that i mean imagine your best friend peoplle you have trusted you are exited to meet over a year not only been talking behind your back but does those sickening things annd even tried to let you to do it the op is brave beuz if im in that situation i dont even knew if i would be able to go to school or even pretend to go along with them or even meet them in general idk if im even mentally strong enough to even go out of my room or house knowing that every personn you could have trusted might betray you in any second
It actually doesn't surprise me that the friends he hung out with turned out to be budding criminals. Like attracts like, and it's good this guy's parents got him into a military school and he straightened himself out.
That guy is a hero. Even though he should have gone through the proper channels I can understand him wanting to set those guys straight personally. Its hard to throw that kind of relationship away, even one as toxic as what he had with those guys.
This happened to my brother in law, *he was intoxicated and was the victim* A girl tried to have sex with him multiple time, not caring that he was completely wasted. His friends saved him because she was trying to get him in a room upstairs to do it, not listening to the others that told her that he was wasted and that it was r@pe. Thank god, nothing happened to him and he was supervised for the rest of the night. These type of people are evil minded and have no care in the world for the people around them.
maan what he did to them is oh so very mild compared to what people in jail probably did and what would've happened if he was able to go through with his plans. For 1, usually in prisons/jails in the US, if you're in their on a sexual charge of ANY nature you will be pretty much forced to put yourself in solitary. If not you'll be endlessly bullied, threatened, beaten, and a good possibility to be killed. That is one of 2 things pretty much no criminal will stand, the other is anything to do with children. Trust me too it's not just in the movies, I experienced it myself when I was falsely accused and there were 2 others in the jail. They stayed in solitary and I didn't care enough to do that too. Even with some of the COs against me and most of the other inmates trying to mess with me constantly. Some of them actually listened to me and weren't picking sides but they wouldn't fuck with me and stopped others. It also helped that it was considered a maximum security jail and most of the assholes got taken away in raids.
If I was OP, the minute I heard about slipping something into someone's drink, I would have started recording the next few conversations so that way I had enough proof to turn into the police. And get those jerks arrested.
He'd just throw away the pills, you probably don't have any evidence, and they'd definitely do worse than calling you out for changing and make his life hell
People like that are why I believe in certain cases, torture is the right thing. I will never forgive the man that violated me all those times. He beat me and forced himself on me so, so many times. I couldn't even get the Cosby treatment; I had to sit there, fully awake, enduring every microsecond of pain and misery. I'm a woman of the night, so I can endure a lot, but the fact that he was my best friend, one of the only people I felt safe with, made it one of the worst things I've ever dealt with. And even without that, nobody was as rough as him. Nobody else had beaten me to the point of nearly going unconscious every time. Nobody else had been so forceful inside. And I had a massive crush on him beforehand... I would've said yes, I really would have... But he never gave me the opportunity... And here I am, years later, still incredibly damaged... He was there for me when I had nobody. He was there for me when my other friends were being taken from me left and right by their struggles with awful relatives and substances... He meant the world to me and he violated me...
I can’t believe he tried to R-word her. What a B-word! People should be more V-word around B-words, specially now that G-word is more S-word in A-word. C-word, my Q-words! N-word.
Wow. I don't know what i would do, but since i'm learning Muai Thai, hearing my friend telling me those things about any girl and my mother, i'm pretty concerent that he would had a lot of headaches and injuries. I would go to the police as soon as possible, since a lot of things can go wrong if the police hasn't noticed anything. I would do most of what the OP did. At least i think so
Honestly I'm glad the op did what he did if he just told the police much less would have happened the man sacrificed himself and his punishments to make sure they get what was truly deserved
For some reason this is video has similar theme to polish cow because the video without captions are cute cats but the captions are like the lyrics of polish cow about cocaine
I keep forgett6 about what the story is about becausethe kitties are so adorably sweet 😍😍😍I just know how soft they look I could pet them on my tablet 😍😍😍
Wow it's nice to have a different background for you're video. It's just that when there's games in the background I get distracted from reading. And I usually watch this videos in a quiet volumw
