Absolutely fabulous. There will be real Kings and Queens buried in far less sumptuous graves and tombs. Even in my small town, the Travelling Community is noted for the care of its loved ones, in life and afterwards. Thank you so much for this beautiful video.
@@barry_ukThe late Queen Elizabeth II has a very modest grave. It's just a simple plain block of black marble with inscriptions on it in a very small side chapel. Nothing like the grand mausoleum built by Queen Victoria for her husband Prince Albert and herself.
@angietunstall2555 over flaunting and over shadowing other graves doesn't make people think any better of you or give you a better chance of getting into heaven. Why they feel the need to have bigger than normal decorations or headstones than others baffles me
Now this is a cemetary that family remembers. Its new and just gorgeous.😊 i have never seen anything so magnificant here in America. Thanx GV for a very awesome video.😊❤😊❤
What a great episode and beautiful monuments in that beautiful Cemetery. Thank you so much for sharing those lovely monuments. Well looks like that we have the man in Black Johnny Cash, but in Ireland you have the man in white called Johnny Cash. What magnificent statuary thanks sharing.
My Gosh! There’s been some money spent there!! I used to think a funeral directors job was always going to be in demand, but here it looks like the local stone mason is doing a good business too!! It just makes me wonder what it will all look like again in say 100, or 150 years, compared to some of the beautiful old monuments you have found on your travels in country graveyards and the like. Will the families of these new grave still carry on tradition to keep them in good order? And what about the very rich man? That story is going to go down in history….rumours abound between future grave robbers, a gold coffin and Rolex + 🤔🤔 I hope not, but we don’t have a crystal ball that far ahead. Just hope respect for the dead even then will stand firm. It was very interesting, and every Angel the camera panned on, I thought Cathals in him element now..knowing his love of Angels! Can I just ask, with such large amounts of money obviously being spent by some families there, do you ever see new modern mausoleums being built by them too? Many thanks.. love and light! 🙋♀️💕🥰 Helen xxxx
@@GraveVisitations thanks for prompt response Cathal, that was good of you. Will you keep ears open if you hear of any wealthy people going in for one anywhere please? I get the feeling that todays people don’t fancy being shut up in a musty building with ancient relatives, preferring their own personal space! Sigh of the times I guess. Hope you didn’t make yourself sick eating all that catterpillar birthday cake! Lol I’m fine thanks, just stressed with arrangements for wedding coming up fast. I’m no youngster, and it’s been hard work! Wish you were both close enough to have joined us, it would have been wonderful. Love and hugs Helen xx👰♀️💐💕 lol xxxx
I used to think that way, I did… thought it was wrong, but then I saw the world, my daughter died… and I thought help who? Help others who will hurt others… take it with you… if they want it they know where it is… I say
Beautiful cemetery, these monuments are amazing! Interesting story about Andy, I am sure that security detail prevented someone from doing something stupid. 🤔 Thank you very much GV and Sue, for a very interesting video. Take care. 😊
Wow lots of money spent on these headstone s but very beautiful lovely cemetery thanks for sharing hope they are all resting in peace 🙏💐🌹 take care GV and sue lovely video has always 👍
A great video. Such beautiful monuments. I am from pennsylvania in the US. I enjoy walking through cemeteries also. I am Irish😀 once again great video. Take care and God bless
You have the most beautiful cemeteries. I have to tell on myself. I rarely go to my brother's or parent's graves. I am always happy to get there when I finally go but then I am just sad. I could never face their deaths anyway I have no idea how to grieve.
Wow those grave stones look so white , thank you for sharing you are doing a wonderful job I really appreciate it . Have a wonderful day and travel safely home .
It warms my heart to see a grave respected and tended to in deep loving memories. All too often we see graves desecrated and disrespected without anyone to remember them or care about them. I wish I could be cared for as well as these fortunate people are after their death. I feel the Irish traveling people get disrespected and are hated unfairly. It is not our place to judge, and after I have seen a few documentaries, I see that they are deeply religious and their families are very dedicated to each other. Their young ladies are actually very chaste and are wonderful wives and mothers. Just seeing these wonderful grave memorials prove their love for their families. God Bless them all.
Is there any particular reason why there are so many statues and marble figures around the graves? Is it a superstitious thing about how they treat the dead or anything like that? Just very curious as to why they would do so much for the dead.
I’m really surprised that there isn’t a guard for that cemetery. Very interesting visit!! I will have to read up on some of the people buried there, I’m sure they had Very Interesting lives! Thanks for another Great Visit!! Love to You and Sue!! 🪬🧿🩷🪦🩷🧿🪬
When you showed the woman with the pink flower arrangement and said Rest In Peace to her, the closed captioning then said, "Thank you," but you didn't say it. I thought that was kinda odd. Thank you for the interesting video. I'm new to your channel and Sue's as well. I'm in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
@Grave Visitations Thank you. My grandparents are buried in England (my mom's parents). She told me yesterday that they're buried in Lodge Hill Cemetery in Birmingham. I looked it up and found the ID'S, but no photo of the graves. Their names were Frederick Charles Murphy and Mary Elizabeth Murphy. He was born in January 1911 and died in April 1970 before I was born. My grandmother was born in February 1909 and died in September 1988. I wish I could go see them. I miss my Nan so much. She was born in Conwy Wales.
Im a bit confused. Why are these graves so close together? What if another person passes away, and needs to be buried in a family plot how do they add the person to the grave if there close together? Sorry weird question, also are there really coffins under the ground? Or just monuments for the person , im from Australia
To be honest, You should not have said anything about the Rolex, Someone will try and dig into that, They will go in the side of the casket, People have become real sick these days.
Honestly, we came to this world with nothing we should live with nothing. Getting buried with expensive cant do anything just going to rotted, its just material things should not bring the grave.
