Nosebleeds mid lift aren't a flex, it's a warning sign. Also, not saying the kid is on anything, but I never got nosebleeds during training until I started cycling orals. Strength shot up like a rocket and with it came the nosebleeds. Stay safe y'all.
@@fitzy28101 most of the time this only happens to people on steroids, pushing yourself this hard has zero point to it unless you are actually Eddie Hall or similar.
Hi there I’m a doctor so I thought I might just pick you up on a little bit of a technicality. The reason that these guys have nosebleeds is actually because they are employing the Valsalva manoeuvre and increasing their intra thoracic and ental pressure. This in turn leads to decreased Venous drainage of the head and therefore increases in engagement of flimsy capillaries which leads to the nosebleed.
Bro its because he tried to pull the second rep straight out of a shock loading scenario. If he just finishes the 1st rep normally, pauses with the weight on the ground for a second or two and then controlled normal 2nd rep, im sure hed probably do the rep with better form and no nose bleed. Unnecessary to do it in such a manner
@@Bdonlee15belt helps a lot but I'm willing to guess that he probably did the first few reps far better. When I do 5x5 it's usually on the last reps of set 4-5 where I'm really struggling to get the weight up and back starts to round. Also his rounding is not awful, a little rounding with strong core and shoulder placement is actually not the worst.
@@seregatanner373 rounding your back can increase the chance of injury significantly though. Might as well just stop if your technique is fucked. The difference between not doing that last rep and doing it is pretty much zero combined with not getting hurt.
@@donaldtrumplover2254 rounding the way he does won't lead to injury, it's mostly about body tension and leg drive, I don't believe in rounding every set but like I said, doing 5x5 for strength if I cut out even 1 rep it's 20% of my set gone, So I'm a personal believer that losing a little bit of form in the last rep of the last few sets should be valid. Most importantly though is feeling your body, everyone is different (some pros only lift with rounded backs and done so for years) 👍
@@AM-dd6gk having straps doesn’t help you lift the weight up, it just helps you hold it. So testing you deadlift it isn’t exactly cheating to use straps 🤦♂️
@peterjames3238 yeahhh.... I'm calling BS on that. Straps 100 percent make a difference. I was able to pull 550 with straps. Was never able to go over 500 without straps. There's a reason you can't wear them in a power lifting meet.
You can get a stroke from cracking your neck, you should be more worried about injuring yourself. Tearing a muscle or getting arthritis in your 30’s is not worth lifting a bunch of heavy weight all the time. Physical strength is overrated unless you are genuinely someone like Eddie Hall.
Try Isometrics, it signals your body that you're doing a PR. Thus, recruit more motor unit which tells the brain that you need to get stronger on that movement. Same concept as PR, without the injury-related part.
It's called "the period" and its completely normal. But its commonly followed by things as moodswings, aggression, and the need to scarf down a chocolatebar to a romantic comedy
One of my teachers told me a story where this guy was on steroids and was lifting really heavy stuff, and ended up having a nose bleed and died from bleeding because something weird happened with his nose
My eyes get very red when I do a paused dumbbell bench press. Is that something to be concerned about? It doesn't happen with an equivalent weight on a barbell (80 kgs or 176.36 lbs)
I don’t know how strong teenagers are now, but even if I was 17 years old and worked out with very small weights and practiced the most correct technique, my back hurt and even now the situation has not improved. Soon, due to the trend of aggressive sports, there will be a couple of percent more disabled people
Everyone talking about how he needs to be humbled, clearly have never hit a pr. Hitting a pr that you’ve been working for or achieve suddenly makes you feel like you’re on top of the world. Of course temporarily, but over the long run it builds confidence
Whenever i see someone life like that my back hurts, its like they want their backs as fragile as their ego. why do they fk up their form? I can't stand it
Fortunately enough the bleeding happens more commonly in the nose, but I've seen It on the white part of the eye Most of the time the blood pressure goes higher above the natural and regular Increase due to a bad technique to give proximal (core) stability Nothing to be afraid of, but.... better safe than sorry Feel free to release some intraabdominal pressure on the concentric phase by loudly yelling "Light weight baby!" ;-)
Ngl kinda badass looking, like this is some anime level bs, like fucker lifts a mountain and gets a nose bleed and this man out here liifying 400p ans getting nosebleed, it judt looks kinda fucked and cool
