The movie "When Love Is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story," is an absolutely wonderful movie that explains the history of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). This group is based off of Christian based principles and it has helped to save a lot of lives from alcoholism. AA was man-made but lead by the spirit of God. The program is a blessing.

Michelle, I am a grown child of an alcoholic father. I sat 3 years in Al Anon and it has helped me. The programme is based on Christian principles. Today, I have tools to use and balance in my life. My father died 35 years ago and it saved me. I guess you need to experience the change to understand.

@@anna-lenameijer9942 I have 4 brothers in Christ who were court ordered into AA, and after a few meetings left. None of them believe in AA, the believe in Jesus. They all got on their knees and cried out to Him directly and HE cleaned them up and delivered them from those demons. They don't recommend AA to anyone. And I use their testimony every time someone brings it up. And I know in my heart that is why HE put them in my path. Blessings in Jesus Holy name!!

Cry out to Him and He will come through!. He is there watching and waiting.

@@GLENLYNAS I believe it's only Him who can give you the peace that you want and make turn you back into the man He intended you to be. So just dedicates your heart wholly to Him and cry out and I am sure He will do what only He can do.

Turn to Him with all your heart. He Will answer you. He loves us so much. He wants us to share His Good news. When He comes in. The Holy Spirit will lead you into all Truth. He will set you free from every prison satan have used to put us into bondage. Heavenly Father lead our brother by Your Spirit. In Acts 2 Peter says Repent. Be Baptized and then receive the Holy Spirit. May the Lord lead you into all Truth. And you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Make the change - I am rooting for you. If you haven't already done it, get on your knees and ask your heavenly Father to come into your life in Jesus name. Then it helps to dive into the Bible and ask God to reveal who Jesus is to you. As God shows you his Son, Jesus, work in your every day life to be like Jesus. That's what he means by "follow me." Concentrate every day on God and follow his actions - don't give alcohol, drugs, or porn the time of day because you are too busy following God's Son, Jesus🙂 God bless you!

Mighty God, we come before you to stand in the gap for Melanie's friend struggling with addiction. Lord, I have seen You work miracles to give addicts freedom overnight, we ask that you would go before us again as we claim victory in Jesus' name. May He encounter You in a mighty and radical way.

I feel your pain bro, please surrender your self to Jesus, keep on praying and find Godly friends and let them pray for you. Jesus will help you to quit, I know many people here in Africa who died in alcoholism and many more whose life been ruined by alcohol
