This was a very intelligent review. A lot of racquet tester guys speak nonsense. I rearly agree with almost everything said in a video. Congrats!

Thanks, Ye - i was worried that perhaps I made it too heavy to watch. But those two racquets deserved it. Even though its the „first round” of my racquets tournament , it could be finals for someone :)

The feel of the gravity pro is sublime and nothing comes close. End of story.

Feel of the racquet is top of the top. Sweet spot could be defined a little bit better but its hard to do so in 100” frames. What strings are your favourite ?

I was recently debating replacing one of my Gravity Pro for the Gravity Tour or the MP XL because I enjoyed being able to move a lighter frame it quicker through the air. But the last 2 times out I killed with the Pro. I’m not so sure now…

If it works it works :) dont change the winning team! I havent tried the newest gravity tour. The previous version was kinda anemic and boring although much easier to play with. Gravity Pro is exciting and inspiring to play with :) ❤

@@dandan.tennis I’m of mindset that I won’t know if another raquet is better for me unless I try it. If the SW of GP was a bit lower (even if they went to 99 sq in) , it may be perfect for me. As it is I love it. But playing with the Boom Pro and Blade 98 sometimes is just great. Both are a close 2nd to the Gravity. Decisions.

@@bigdaddy812 well, the rumours are that we are going to see gravity 98 in 16x19 option :)

Your comment on gravity pro control saying ball land shorter, in recreational match, short ball can be very offensive, most of the time, recreational players cannot run forward efficiently.
@dandan.tennis
@dandan.tennis 2 месяца назад
Very true. Playing with depth is very efficient. But playing too short often usually means harder on defense. and its a bit weird trying to produce a fast ball and hit a shorty instead 😅

I think you should add the Blade 100 to the racquet competition!

I tested the Percept 100. It was nice but not my usual cup of tea. I will also demo speed mp coz its around me but if i dont like it i will ignore the blade 100. So far all the speeds mp i tried were out of my preference. I respect the bump in SW with the recent release so lets see :)

Any suggestion of rackets for volleyers? I feel like most of the recent rackets are focused for baseline tennis.

Im like a 3.5 player (playing for 2,5 years, once a week just with a friend - no competitive yet). 33year old male. I like to hit big from the baseline more, than rushing through the net. I’m trying to play with spin but I’m not the best spin player of my technique. So if I try to hit winners, I often shoot em too flat and they are going too long - out. I’m actually playing the 2023 head extreme mp, because I thought „if I’m not good enough to generate spin with a good technique, maybe the extreme mp can help me with it. But now I’m thinking, maybe I need a more control friendly racket. I’m thinking of the speed or the gravity line. But I don’t know which is better for me and which model i should take (MP, Tour, Pro of gravity or speed) What do you suggest me to get?
@dandan.tennis
@dandan.tennis 2 месяца назад
Extreme MP is good for those heavy groundstrokes exchanges. But its not the best for feel and control. Regarding spin I think you wont sacrifice too much if you keep using 16x19 patterns. Just focus on acceleration more and being relaxed. 100” are more forgiving and fun to play with if you dont practice with coach even from time to time to work on your technique. So within 100” and feel oriented racauets I would recommend Yonex Percept 100 / Percept 100 D. From Wilson Blade 100 and from Head maybe Gravity Tour… From Head I often recommend Radical MP which is their most „balanced” racquet. Enough help, enough control, enough feel and spin. Easy enough and challenging enough to improve your stroke awareness. You can find your own game with it. But the 98” headsize might be a challenge for someone who is just playing with a friend once a week. Gravity Tour in that regard might be a bit more fun to play with but its 18x20 so the difference in power level compared to your Extreme MP will be quite big. Let me know your decision and awaiting your feedback :) good luck!

Did you try Wilson Blade ? Feels almost Gravity PRO
@dandan.tennis

Mainly V5 18x20 (was my main racquet in the past) and V7 18x20 and 16x19. Feel is great, weight distribution not exactly my style. Works on my backhand amazingly but my wrist on forehand is getting tired too fast. If I had to pick the blade now, it would be 16x19 version.

@@dandan.tennis I prefer control racket like and you. Was using blade v7 16x19 and v8 18x20. After deep analysis i come to conclusion that in a stress moments with 18x20 i am playing sometimes so short.. Then i was trying to find another another racket (Ezone 98 and Pure Aero 98 too powered for me) feels like i am not control the ball. Gravity pro suits my game but after few sessions a had wrist pain. Too much swingweight for me. ISO 305 very good on my backhand, but i feel not self confident with my power forehand. (It is my best shot) I like TF 40 , but i think Blade 16x19 is better. Now want to buy a new racket. Try to consider just control racket. What you think about Dunlop cx 200 and Percept 97?
@dandan.tennis
@dandan.tennis 2 месяца назад
@@arturnn2397 if you loved the gravity pro but would prefer something slightly „easier” then you should try the newest Gravity Tour and Speed Pro. Also I think Radical Pro could be something interesting for the blade fans that enjoyed gravity pro (closer specs but easier playability). Dunlop has great feel but the very low sw will take away all the power on those tight shots where you play with slower racquet head speed. Percept 97 should be slightly better but I actually prefer the TF40 315 16x19. That being said they are very similar so might come down to brand preference. I like that TF40 has 5 more grams and its foam filled but Percept 97 perhaps is designed better (better stability per each gram). However this is kinda „prestige” alternative so its not helping that much on defense. (Speed pro and gravity tour should offer a bit more). Radical Pro will offer a bit more than both Percept 97 and TF40 315. So I would try Speed Pro, Gravity Tour and Radical Pro. Also for a ISO 305 fans that want something easier to play with I highly recommend Percept 100D and newest Prestige MP 18x19 🔥🏆
