It does come down to what your willing to invest and the effort your willing to commit to. I also like both. The faster, the easier, and most inexpensive the better.
This vid sold the concept for me, been using gillette m3 on my head and face. too bad you cant get this in eu so ive ordered it directly from USA the country that keeps on going with smart and advanced solutions.
I bit the bullet and purchased despite the costs of the replacement blades. Not only did i read the instructions, but also watched several RU-vid videos for the technique. My first attempt i found cutting stroke one way to be really good however in the opposite direction i found the shaver tugged at the already low cut stubble. I'd used a wahl shaver first. Not one to prematurely judge, i tried again 3 days later. I experienced the same difficulty. As this is a brand new product i would have thought the blades would be better. I know I'm new to using this, however my gillette turbo 3 does not give me this problem. And having shaved last approx 5 minutes ago i can still feel some stubble and will need a second go. I don't know if i would recommend yet as this may be down to my technique.and wouldnt any to knock the product too soon. I will persevere and will probably purchase the replacement blades. Hopefully by then i may have either mastered it or the blades it came with aren't the best at all, but hey things happen.but on the whole it's well made product, which is simple to use. I have no issues with cuts or razor burn / rash. But the tugging is an issue at present and i cannot deny that right now. I will post a further review later, which hopefully will be more positive at this moment its not doing it for me personally 100%. Perhaps bi directional shaving isn't the best for me anyway. But after already cutting in one direction, you would think the scalp is reasonable shaved not to tug.on the second stroke. Yes small movements back and forth, also doesn't get behind the ears very well.
Great video! You guys just helped me to make a decision. Omnishaver will be my first choice. I have to own my hair loss and these two were my pick. Thanks again guys! Oh yah... I am Asian too! HAH ! OOh no..... I am not bias.... Take care everyone!
A heads up w/ the Headblade... You don't need to lift it up with each pass. The OmniShaver cleans and strops on the "reverse stroke" and you can get the same effect from the Headblade by simply keeping it against your scalp on the return. This also helps make sure you move over and shave the entire head in the shower more easily.
Awesome video. I have used the Headblade Sport with 3 blades and loved it. Now forced to change and I don't like the 4 blade as much as it doesn't get as close. I do know it is a learning curve. I'm going to check out the OmniShaver for sure. Thank you for the review great job!
Im in no rush, I want to pamper my head with slow, smooth strokes. I would also use a nice shave oil rather than shave cream, so that I can keep my head moist. Dry head is just unacceptable.....
I got one like the white shirt guy is using. And say the way he is doing it doesn't look like he's getting to the scalp. I found it works better to go back and forth across the head like the guy in the black shirt was doing
How many good clean head shaves can you get with the Omni Shaver? I know its one of those your milage may vary, but how many clean head shaves can you get? I ask because I still have a lot of hair and my hair is thick in the back and sides. I have never shaved my head, but I since I am thinning up top and back some, it's time to let go :o/
I've only had the omnishaver for about 4 months but the blades are still as sharp as when I first got it. Shaving takes practice and patience. Plus not everyone has the same shape head. I for one have hard corners on the side of my head, so I have to be extra careful shaving in that area. 3 days is the longest before I need to shave again. Anything more than 4 days will take more time plus there is the risk of cutting yourself.
Hi CP, we will have the omnishaver available for preorder on the second week of august please sign up on our indiegogo mailing list on our website www.omnishaver.com thanks!
OmniShaver Why aren't you accepting Paypal? Also I don't feel to Comfortable entering my credit card for what you are calling a donation and also the fact that it is out of the my country united States. Is there another form of payment like Paypal you guys will accept? Sorry, but I have had fraud quite a few times with my credit card.
Evo, we are using a crowdfunding service called indiegogo.com and they currently do not accept paypal as payment. Trust us, this website is safe/secured. Indiegogo has been around for years. They are based at San Francisco. You can see other Indiegogo Projects being funded by the millions.
Because there is no handle, you don't end up bending your wrists in awkward positions. Just like my brother said, it just feels really natural holding the ominshaver versus the traditional kind. The blade stays sharp and clean when using it too
Got my OmniShaver today and just used it. Had only about 4-5 days of growth and got a bunch of nicks. I’ll try again after a couple days but so far I may go back to my Gillette fusion blades.
I use a Andis electric shaver, but I may have to give the Omnishaver a try. It's cool to see two brothers shave together, me and my Mom shaved together all the time, but once I got married, my wife didn't like that we shaved together, so now I shave with my wife.
the only thing I didnt like about omni is it didnt get my head fully. I got weird angles lol. I bought an Andis electric shaver and its really good gets close
we love the omnishaver because it self-strops and cleans itself. been using the same omnishaver for several months now without needing to change razor catridges.
Headshape, previously ingrown hairs, a tiny bump on the head getting torn open, etc etc... Really doesn't take much to get a nick here or there during a headshave, just use an alum stone afterwards to stop the bleeding and seal the wound.
I use a bath sponge (shower pouf) to scrub off any dead skin and it usually smooths everything in preparation for a shave. Havent had a nick since. Hope this helps!
I prefer the Omnishaver cause the ring on the headblade is made for men with smaller size hands, I spent most of the time struggling with the fact that my finger got stuck in that thing.
Two things I played with the most besides myself in the bathroom. Hot wheels and dads razor… now they combine to make a grownup fun time.. sold I’m gettin two one for my face and one for my ass..
You guys should go on two distinct separate diets. One vegan the other carnivore. See how you both feel 30, 60 or 90 days later. Thumbs up on the video.
@@HazeGamesArcade I'm calling bullshit man. I've been using a Headblade ATX with 4 or 6 blades, 2-3 times a week for over a year. I apply decent pressure & carelessly run over moles, pimples & ripples in my skin without cutting them at all. I've only ever cut myself once with it & it was very minor just like a beard knick. To say you took literal & major chunks out... well you're just full of shit.
I don’t understand crowd funding? Why is it not just available to buy ? Looks a great product, don’t want to make a donation or anything! Just want to buy one ..
I ordered mine about a month ago and have inquired several times on Instagram and their website about when to expect shipping. No response. Just tried them on Twitter. I’m hoping to get a ballpark date. This shaver seems like the real deal. I’d love to find out for myself.
I ordered mine off indiegogo and received it in about 3 weeks. Used it for the first time 4 days ago and it was the easiest and most smoothest shave that I’ve ever had.
@@gar4277 ok......thanks for shedding such a blinding light your comment.I feel your pain because of your eloquence expressing the nightmare you've been thru.So....vivid......You should write a book my friend.
