In this video I show you how to change the 4 and 6 blade cartridges on the HeadBlade Moto. Don't own the Moto yet? You can get one at www/HeadBlade.com or amzn.to/2r3Pafc
Thanks mate. My new HeadBlade MOTO will arrive in the next couple days. I’ve been researching headblade for a few days and noticed quite a few complaints about the swivel hinge to the main body breaking. My guess is they didn’t hold the main blade carrier while changing blades and due to the sideways pressure involved have snapped that swivel hinge. Your video has shown me EXACTLY how the mechanism works and I’m 100% sure I’ll never make that mistake/user error. Much appreciation 👍👍
Yes, that's exactly the case, though we made some improvements and reinforced that back stem. We made the improvements in April of 2017 and have been only selling the new design since July of 2017. If you are buying from anyone on Amazon you may be buying older, diverted, product that may be from early 2016. Here is our blog post: www.headblade.com/blog/new-improved-moto/
Got my HeadBlade ATX4 w/ the little tires on the back about 3 weeks ago along w/ some refill blades I LOVE this thing, the shave gets better and better! I would go through a regular Mach 4 razor in 3 shaves, I'm on my 15th or 16th shave w/ the first blade :) This vid helped as there were some stubble stuck to the back of the blade. Still on the 1st blade! Clean and dry the blade, then strop it, it will last a crazy long time!
Can you substitute different brand blades with this moto? How many blades is it? Which ones? Will the same adaptor work? Thanks. I still like the sport and was going to get the lunar eclipse just because that’s all they offer now. I use twin blades Agra for the sport. Thanks
Had I seen your video first I would have never bought the HeadBlade. You think you had trouble disengaging the blade, and actually did it two different ways, none easy for older arthritic hands.
If you don't have hand strength do not buy this razor. I do have hand strength and I watched a 2-3 videos on how to replace the blade took me over an hour to finally get the blade onto the razor. I don't think I would have purchased this razor if I watched the videos first on youtube. I'm outside of my 30 days or I would return this razor. The benfits of the moto do not balance out with the pita blade replacement.
