I fixed these before looking at your video. I’m using a Lg G8, and the morphit plugin in USB audio player app made a HUGE difference by changing the frequencies. I have the target headphones set to Grado Sr325, and I had also stuffed the cans with sound acoustic foam.. and damn! So much better!! And only paid 50 bucks for them off Amazon! Also, they sell that same exact cable on Amazon, but it’s not made by Blon, so I’m guessing just like the head strap they have other companies parts.
Thanks for your time and sharing, since my review I threw these in the corner one day to upgrade the drivers. TP dampening LOL love it. You have inspired me to actually use a dampening matt and some poly wool to fix ... hopefully one of the worst shilled pieces of sound poop 💩 ever. As an influencer myself I am proud to have never done a Zeos move like that he honestly should be regretful for misleading his followers in the name of $$$.
Happy to help and inspire! And yes, honesty is always the best policy. Maybe Zeos had an off day, maybe his setup somehow helped it sound better, who knows. All we can do is share our own experiences.
I’ve been experimenting with my pairs for a month now. First I used sound foam, then toilet paper, both gave me an alright sound.. but it still was lacking. So today I did even more experimenting… I took a handful of bubble wrap and stuff a handful in each cup. That gave a lot better sound, but was a little sound piercing. So I then took a handful of paper town and stuff that in the cup along with the bubble Wrap. I don’t know if it’s all in my head. But that even out the sound. It damn near sounds like Koss kcf-75’s , except this makes these sound like I’m in the studio booth along with the artist. The soundstage is definitely wider, and I can hear frequencies that were lacking before I experimented this hack.
I bought these way back tried my hardest to mod and get them right and I did but then messed it up again lol and the non angled cups was a huge downer. So I returned and went with r7-dx absolutely happy with my decision stock is okay but with a headband swap and mods similar to blon foam, felt, silicone, fiberglass squares it really turns out well. Either or are great options to have a little fun modding 😊
This is amazing. I'll make sure to truly try this and do a comparison between the mod and non mod in my review. Definitely looking forward to modding them.
At full price, absolutely not. If you can grab them for $40-$50 with the mod then I think they are an okay recommendation. That being said, for a few bucks more you could get the Sony MDR7506, which I'd take every time over the B50.
@@MasterMarslander I'm really not impressed with how they sound in stock form. I have yet to put the TP in them. The bass Is dull as hell mods are all over the place. The only thing I can praise on these in stock form is the snappy treble response when it comes to hihats. And female vocals on occasion 😆.
@@MasterMarslander they're loud speakers slapped into headphones that's why they sound ass. If you take them off and listen to them at full volume they're way more enjoyable
